The fact that he’s Jewish isn’t what disqualifies him. It’s the support of Israel, and the implied support of Israel’s policies and actions.

To be clear, Israel doesn’t have a right to exist. No country has such a “right”. Continued existence is based on the will of people. But if Shapiro could learn to understand what most of the rest of the world is seeing with their own eyes, the sky would be the limit.

Well, the will of Israelis—that is, the people who live in Israel—is to continue to exist.

Cool. The calculus doesn’t merely involve their own will, though. Tough break.

Actually, the tough break for haters of Israel is that Israel is still there. The Israelis will to survive against those who wish to see them destroyed has proven to be too much for its enemies.

Now it’s being reported that the Harris campaign also asked Tim W if he had been an “agent” for “China.” Nice try.

Enemies? Always so dramatic …

You don’t need a country to survive. Those that oppose Israel’s policies and actions are not trying to destroy you personally or even Israel, necessarily.

But keep up with the victim complex - without that, what would you have?

I have no idea what you are trying to say.

The “whole country”? Do you have a cite for that?

The backlash that brought Mamdani to power in what is only partly jokingly called the Jewish homeland of New York City taught you nothing, I see. Well, it isn't my job to wake you up if you prefer to remain asleep.

Anyone who served in a foreign military should be considered a foreign agent, especially if you claim to be an American. The burden of proof is on that person.

Agreed. Someone who has his or her own nation's interest at heart would stay here in America where there is plenty of service work that needs to be done. Not run off to a foreign country that gets subsidized from us already. We need people who prioritize the US first.

I will never vote for someone who served and assisted another military and not the USA military. Frack him

Nope. Still no clue.

In the entertainment industry, we would say Shapiro's Q score is pretty low.

Since in the American political system, voters are not all equal--if the rich folks on DCUM want Shapiro like they wanted Hillary, then the Dems are doomed when it comes to Executive branch outcomes.

Shapiro is radioactive because he blindly, unconditionally supports Israel’s policies and actions, not because he’s Jewish.

It’s the exact same reason that non-Jews in our government like John Fetterman, Lindsey Graham, and Marco Rubio are radioactive.

Ironically, Shapiro can unlock an easier pathway to rehabilitating his image than the latter three bozos. If he pivots and denounces Israel’s policies and actions, demanding reform, the goodwill created may very well buoy his political aspirations. Nothing the latter three can do to recover from their current status as corrupt losers.

Didn’t Harris go to Philadelphia to announce her VP pick? And most of us assumed it was going to Shapiro.

He’s smearing his diaper all over his future with his book because poor Josh Shapiro evidently effed up his political ambitions all on his own during the vetting and final meetings with the Harris campaign. Oh well! I guess his burn book is consolation enough.
