can I block child's ability to buy food?

And the school lunches are not good, and what happens if the kid just buys a s**t ton of food? She's trying to help them by packing the lunch (why else would anyone put themselves through that task daily).

She decided she wanted a cheese stick daily so she was going through the line just for 1 cheese stick. And school was charging her for a full meal each time. I'm pretty annoyed. I didn't even have money on her account.

Wow. I'd be REALLY annoyed with that. I'm sorry.

He is playing you with the squished sandwich line. Let me guess that he puts his lunch in his backpack.

What is your point? Do you think the vast majority of American kids are underfed?

They are underfed - they eat garbage snacks instead of actual wholesome meals. Gain weight but their body is still lacking.

I work at a school and order school lunches often. They’re way better than what she stated she packs. I have done lunch duty and have never seen a kid get away with buying 2 actual lunches to be put on 1 single tray.

She’s not helping him by packing an awful sandwich that’s been sitting in his lunchbox for hours and throwing in a bunch of snacks. Now your question why would anyone do this? Maybe there is a strategy - if she packs food she knows he doesn’t like or doesn’t eat then maybe she’s hoping he doesn’t eat much so he can lose weight. She doesn’t understand why he just doesn’t sit there and stay hungry to achieve this weight loss goal.
