And the school lunches are not good, and what happens if the kid just buys a s**t ton of food? She's trying to help them by packing the lunch (why else would anyone put themselves through that task daily).
I work at a school and order school lunches often. They’re way better than what she stated she packs. I have done lunch duty and have never seen a kid get away with buying 2 actual lunches to be put on 1 single tray. She’s not helping him by packing an awful sandwich that’s been sitting in his lunchbox for hours and throwing in a bunch of snacks. Now your question why would anyone do this? Maybe there is a strategy - if she packs food she knows he doesn’t like or doesn’t eat then maybe she’s hoping he doesn’t eat much so he can lose weight. She doesn’t understand why he just doesn’t sit there and stay hungry to achieve this weight loss goal.
