I thought they just had a rooftop bar. Good to know. We'll see if they get accepted to MLSN. |
Not convenient for most of the board but FC Frederick. They arrange gym/trainer time weekly in the winter at a gym called Sarge. It’s a trek for us but we have been incredibly happy with the team and coaches so well worth it. |
RFK Fields are closed entirely. |
| I actually don’t care if my kid isn’t training at a big club. Plays other sports in the winter. Does fitness. I just wish the club would stop emailing us about training. It’s winter… sometimes fields close. Chill out. |

Out of curiosity, since soccer fields are closed, which clubs went the extra mile and rented an indoor facility to continue practices?
They tried to move indoors after not being able to practice but the place they found was so far and it was late when they announced, they ended up canceling because there weren't enough kids planning to show up. |
| Not my clubs but I have seen Potomac and Achilles in SoFive running practices. |
How did it go? |
| Looks like this week is another indoors only week |
| All you have to do is have a tractor with a plow and some attachments and your turfed field is cleared and practice is on! No need to go indoors |
Have you seen the temperatures? Lol! |
And replace the damaged sections come Spring |
99% of the local turf fields are public property. You can't do anything that would damage the fields so no. |
|
Well, I can tell you that’s what my daughter’s club does and that’s what most colleges do too. And guess what, there’s no damage to the turf to replace in the spring…wow what a concept! They’ve been practicing all winter. Except for this week due to the cold temps.
