In VA, but not DC Metro. Yes. Snow and cold has kinda messed with outdoor training. Moved to covered field space, indoor field space and doing more individual stuff as well.
First true outdoor practice today. Moved to a different site since the regular field is still snow covered. |
| Yes DD is training. |
|
Online meetings - not attending.
Indoor practice - attending. Outdoor stuff (apparently this weekend, a field is clear) - plan to attend. My kid in in HS and not aspiring to play in college. They're not gonna choose a Zoom over doing homework for 3 APs. They enjoy indoor, so they go to those. |

1st team at u11 found space,2nd and 3rd teams ect are on their own.
So indoor space is hard to find that is turf and not a basketball court. |
| No. Big club 2nd team. First team continues to train. |
SYC lol |
| you mad |
| My kids play for a small club (1-2 teams per age group.) Our winter training is always indoors, we wont go outdoors until closer to Spring. |
| DS’s A team has consistently tried to train. They keep switching fields/times only to be canceled at the last minute. They did do some indoor weight training this week at least. He tried to go out on his own this week but every field near us is still covered. |
What club has access to an indoor gym for weight training? |
Don’t MLSNext and ECNL clubs? |
| Syc first teams appear to be training. Nice they post on IG. The rest of the lowly teams don't get much. |
Apparently not |
Same experience w SYC; folks are starting to get frustrated by the lack of communication from SYC on this. The club admin is lacking in this area. They don’t ask for feedback either which further frustrates families. |
| BSC and Potomac have at least one day indoors (and not just for the 1st team). I think I saw some Rosa teams indoor too. |
