What is the psychology behind being attracted to your kid’s coach/teacher?

Just curious what is going on with that? The current coach is a reasonably attractive guy, also single which is outside the norm. However, he’s probably not someone I would give a second thought to if not for being the coach (and he’s a good one, my kid really looks up to him). Why do I think about him so much?

Proximity syndrome.

What authority do teachers have?

The basic psychology is your husband sux. Possibly at more than just looks, supporting your mutual child, teaching people anything, being an interesting person.

And you don’t know if the teacher or coach is a big slob.

Not always, but 100% of the time she is is broken little girl that needs constant validation and the creation of dramatic circumstances to feel alive. In addition, the “wife” lacks integrity and the capacity for honesty or accountability. Sub par human in all aspects aside from fluffing mattresses.

perhaps, but for a woman, being hot, willing, and good in the sack makes up for a lot of other failings. that has been a fact of life forever.

Most AP’s are definitely not objectively hot.
