Which brand appliance should I go with for microwave, fridge, dishwasher and oven?

We have GE profile now and each appliance seems to be breaking. We are going to buy a new microwave first and then eventually replace all the appliances so I am open to any and all brands, just want stainless steel. Any recommendations? Appliance guy said regular GE would be good but I am not too impressed with the reviews

Jenn Air and Kitchen Aide are good and aren't overly expensive.

I got Bosch fridge, dishwasher, and induction cook top. All are great

I wouldn't get all the same-- we have GE stove, LG fridge, KA dishwasher and Samsung microwave.

Kitchen aid appliances have horrible reviews. We went with all LG with the Lowes extended 5 year warranty.

We love ours too! Not only is it silent but it also actually dries the dishes, even plastics. The only ones that need drying are tye cups with concave bottoms where the water can pool.

Don't go with a package deal. Some brands seem to do better with particular types of appliances. When we redid our kitchen last year, we did a ton of research. Got a KA fridge, Bosch dishwasher, GE Café gas range, and a GE spacesaver microwave (only one that would fit in the narrow space we needed.) All are working great. If you can spend more, people seem to love Miele dishwashers. Ranges/ovens are all over the place in terms of reviews and a lot will depend on your price range (e.g., $1-2k vs. $4k and upward.) If you have real cash, shell out for a built-in fridge by Subzero or Liebherr.

I heard there's a recall on Bosch dishwashers. Look out for this as I think it was causing fires.

I have heard that KA gets good reviews and LG is only good for Fridges.

I love love love my Maytag dishwasher. And it's a great value for the price. I bought a Kenmore gas range but it's basically a Frigidaire. It works well and was also a good value for the price. I've had both for about a year.
