Which brand appliance should I go with for microwave, fridge, dishwasher and oven?

| Had a Bosh dishwasher in the house we just sold. HATED it. We got it because it was a "best buy" in Consumer Reports but it didn't dry dishes completely and it required lots of repairs over a short period of time. As others have said, it was quite. We had an Amana fridge (same reason) and hated it too. The chip that controlled the auto defrost kept breaking so the fridge would stop working, we'd lose most of the food in it, and have to pay for a new chip. 3 in one yr! The repair guy new exactly what was wrong the minute I explained the problem and he saw the fridge. Grrr. |

I inherited a Whirlpool fridge when we bought our house 2 years ago and it's been perfect. No issues other than changing filters.
I bought a GE rgad range, Whirlpool micro, and Whirlpool dishwasher. The microwave has been a nightmare but the range and dishwasher are going strong with no issues (knock on wood). |
