Really? Have you ever looked at an ECNL roster? If not, look at McLean for example...or FCV...or whoever...majority of kids are not even from that area. Kids flock from everywhere to the top platform...If DA is the new top platform....kids will flock from different areas...and the dynamics will change. How many kids on ECNL rosters started at CYA..SYA..VSA...etc...a lot...I guarantee you. ...a pickup or lose of a few key players can change everything |

Right and does VDA not have the DA? Will kids not "flock" to the nearest affiliated club? Calling out the current VDA member clubs as "weak" is a stupid thing to say. If a kid is hauling from Prince William to FCV or McLean now why wouldn't they consider VDA? |

That is just ignorant. PWSI is a well run club with very good staff. The player pool is traditionally quite strong, especially at the young ages. The move out of CCL to get the boys DA may have caused some girls on the older teams to go elsewhere, but that won't be the case if they have the GDA. |

Since the club naming is now out of the bag, I think what we are dealing with is simple Loudoun arrogance. The greatest club to not have DA and has to whore themselves to two different clubs just to sniff what they couldn't get on their own. |

I'm not from Pwsi or vsa....but the naysayers have it wrong. Who has won multiple national championship on the girls side? VSA, Loudoun or Mclean?.. Would you believe the answer is VSA. Would you believe that the majority of those VSA players were formal FCV players..would you believe that they got D1 scholarships not playing in the ECNL...how about girls HS soccer...Battlefield ring a bell...mutiple state championships...again...PWSI/VSA territory. I'm telling you...there is a lot of talent in that corridor....but the talent has been flowing north to play ECNL....if that talent stays home and plays DA...the game will change. |

The only national championships I could find for VSA were the 94G, who won twice. So you're saying that players on that 94 VSA were "former FCV players" -- did FCV even exist when the 94s were playing? The talent has gone elsewhere for a reason. |

Nothing like living in the past. There are a lot of clubs in this area that have multiple national championships. How many VSA teams made state finals this year? 0 ... Loudoun made 5 How many teams are ranked in the top 100 in the country? 1 .... Loudoun has 11 How mamy teams competed in USYS regionals last year? 0. Loudoun won a national championship and state cups High school soccer? This is a travel soccer blog...... Loudoun is a far superior club. |

| I think the only point being made is that VDA will need a couple years to make a name for themselves. It may be a great option for a younger player, I have no idea. But if you have a player in the middle or just starting out with recruiting, it might not be a gamble you want to take. |

Loudoun parents are some of the most misinformed and arrogant people I know. You are far superior girls program....to who? Name one great achievement.....EVER? ...besides being #1 in gotsoccer or being the greatest club in CCL history....lmfao. A lot of you are about to get a rude awakening.
