As stated above I would be very concerned about the company he was keeping. I would also be concerned if he was living with a serious gamer, which this roommate apparently also was.

Note that the last leak from law enforcement claiming that the bullet casings had inscriptions that supported trans ideology was found to be a lie. There has been a push to show trans involvement in the shooting from the very beginning. I would withhold judgement on this leak until there is something more official.

They are, by definition, mixed up in the head. I would have sympathy for them but would not want my young adult child that involved in their day to day life.

Governor Cox said during the press conference that police had contacted Robinson's "roommate" who had shown them Discord messages. By then, the police had already been informed of Robinson's admission that he had killed Kirk. The claims in the Post are inaccurate and should cast doubt on the rest of the article.
