In the "anon" response in AEM, JB admitted that he teaches a graduate level campaign management class, and those are the strategies he teaches them. If Miranda did not nab him as her volunteer campaign manager, I would be very surprised. She should use someone like him with all of his knowledge, including oppo research. I don't even think that what JB did was wrong, but it is a local sb race, so it did raise eyebrows. Doesn't make SR's troll Foia of the foia right though. BE and their entire exec team should be ashamed of themselves. Just throw that account in their face the next time they try to engage in AEM. |
Y'all they aren't doing their jobs or taking ownership over their decisions. A little civil disobedience is sometimes they way to show you're fed up. I'd also like to understand the reason for not identifying board members or APS staff by name in remarks. Is there skin really that thin that they can't be addressed? Have they heard of the first amendment? Of course, if you're doling out comments say Dr. Duran all you want! |
I was thinking the same thing. The offer to stay remote remains, why push for all students to continue w/hybrid because of their personal situations? I was also livid that the SB didn't yell "TIME" at them when time was up and the audience had to announce it. Talk about discrimination from the SB.. they only want to hear what supports their decision to avoid effort for more days. |
You don’t know that someone from SR exec team created that account. ![]() Obviously, that person hates APE (don’t we all) and supports SR, but that doesn’t mean it was one of them. |
You are starting to sound like the White parents in Boston during school desegregation. Really, if this is what has spurred you to action, and what you’re willing to become disobedient about THIS YEAR, you might need to take a long look in the mirror. |

As far as I'm concerned, yelling at a nonnative speaker for going overtime is just as bad as SR's anti APE troll account. The amount of bullying among Arlington parents is just so unreal. I'm sure Monique was about to cut her off, but the crowd intervened. It seems to bring Monique so much joy to cut people off from commenting. |
Sorry but the SB was counting down the seconds for the parents advocating for more days in class to stop speaking. It was crystal clear this was not what happened for the supporters that did not want more days. |
You are very committed to pushing this false narrative. You don’t know that it’s a “SR” account. Just that it’s someone who supports SR. |
But, even if it's not an official SR account, it was clear from who shared it (BE) and who follows it (everyone SR) that SR implicitly supports bullying APE. If you are so anti-doxxing teachers, admins should take a clear stand on not doxxing people from APE too. But instead, the husband of a SR admin and constant AEM poster shared it to the world. Looks bad, doesn't it? The hypocrisy, like someone said above, is unreal. But I don't like APE either. They need to sit down too, and let everyone have their turn without the screaming. It's not that big of a deal that someone went two seconds over. It would be nice if more speakers were allowed to at least finish their sentence before getting cut off. |
I'm so ashamed to call most of those parents fellow APS parents. Those poor children are parroting their mom, the one guy is kind of scary and it's pathetic not to stop clapping and yell at someone who doesn't agree with you. |
It’s fair to call them out on sharing it but you can’t attribute it to them. |
DP. The Twitter account posts material obtained by SR members and its only identifiable followers are SR members/leadership. The Twitter account is absolutely coming from SR. |
It’s ironic that after all the time SR has spent making accusations that APE is sponsoring a lawsuit and some supposed recall effort that the APE leadership has specifically and repeatedly disavowed, they now want people to just give them the benefit of the doubt that the they aren’t responsible for a Twitter account that SR leadership hasn’t actually denied being involved with. |
You know, I hadn't thought of it this way, but you make a good point. |
