I think Republicanism is one of the stupidest, most misguided political philosophies ever, but Roger Stone is really… unique, shall we say, in what a messed up person he is. He’s up there with that Liberty U pastor who paid the pool boy to have sex with his wife while he watched (while blaming rape victims on his own campus!). Stone is a seriously crooked and deranged person. |

Are you kidding? They’re assiduously avoiding this thread and others like it. They know what lurks beneath the surface of their party, but they don’t want confirmation, so they’ll never read the articles and documents that demonstrate the extent to which the GOP is working in concert with/being used by Russia (among other massive issues in the criminal syndicate that is the GOP). They prefer to hop on more neutral threads and gaslight the living daylights out of people who note the GOP’s issues. |

Paxton has admitted that the only thing keeping it artificially red is GOP cheating. Georgia will probably be the same way. It’s the fascist party’s way to suppress the vote (and probably outright change votes, let’s be honest. The GOP projects their crimes) to the extent that this country can’t get anywhere and is mired in a pretend ideological quagmire. People hate Republicans. |

The Gadsden flag is nothing but a vacuous "hey that looks cool" to MAGAs. They completely perverted its meaning. It was based on Benjamin Franklin's iconic "Join or Die" snake woodcut that was apart in 13 pieces, representing the 13 states. 
Gadsden shows the pieces of the snake as a timber rattler, united as one, with thirteen rattles, a symbol of united American federal power, which MAGAs reject. It was first flown by the Marines, one of the first true US military units, as opposed to the state militias. It is the exact opposite of what the American anti-government and neo-confederate right wing stands for. Today's right wing is seditionist, secessionist, anti-federal, pro-states-rights, the exact opposite of what the Gadsden Flag represents. Every time I see someone from the right wing flying one of these I think "wow, what a clueless idiot, knows nothing of American history." I think we should reclaim the Gadsden Flag from the far right and restore teaching of what it truly stands for. |
