NP. Wow. Glad I don't know you. What an incredibly narrow view of "prime" you seem to have. Not referring to the Weeknd but to the huge, gross generalization in bold. |
It's funny how so many of these "unpopular opinions" are anything but that. More like people smugly typing out widespread forum beliefs. Posts bashing Justin Timberlake/Jessica Biel and Scarlett Johansson. How original and daring.
I'll throw out a truly unpopular one. The Harry Potter movies are trite, dull and vastly overrated. The fandom as such don't exactly help. The Social Network is a great movie and the Winklevoss twins are great. Really don't care what the actor has done with his girlfriends since. |
He's got nothing left. And now he's super rich and has no hunger. It happens to basically every musician. |
It's true. Look it up, any artist. Maybe you'll find an outlier here and there but on the whole, it's accurate time and time again. Just as an example: How old was Phil Collins when he wrote and record "In The Air Tonight"? 29-yo. 50 Cent when he recorded his top album "Get Rich or Die Trying"? 25-yo. Eminem when he recorded 8 Mile soundtrack? 27-yo. Taylor Swift's top 2 selling albums? 20-yo and 25-yo. |
Same! |
I've never heard a Taylor Swift song and I'm not a big fan of rap. I'm more of a Leonard Cohen type of woman and he was creating brilliant music into his eighties. |
It's all been bastardized by the same parasitic music execs who ruined pop music. Luke Bryan is possibly the worst example of the formulaic trash. And of course the country-rap bass-filled garbage by Florida Georgia Lines and the like. But I'm pretty sure it's always been subject to money-hungry fame-obsessed coke-addicted trash. Didn't Hank Williams die way back in the 50s of drugs and alcohol or something? I still like the older 80s and 90s and earlier 00s stuff from Garth Brooks, Allan Jackson, George Strait ... even Kenny Chesney has some good more recent songs. |
This is not an unpopular opinion at all. |
Tom Hanks is secretly evil and a terrible actor. Not to mention that Forrest Gump was a terrible movie. |
I don't know anything about him, but he's not talented and everything about him is just so unbelievably boring. |
KPop should not be a separate genre, the awards shows like Grammys and BBMAs have a separate category because they are racist and want more views. Likewise “Latin Music” and “Country Music”. They do this to create a longer awards show but it just makes fans angry. |
(Hand raised in back of the classroom) I don’t think he’s evil or has a dark side per se, but I don’t believe he’s a good guy. Always wary of someone who is endlessly sold as “the nice guy” and who obviously wants to be sold that way. Also, Hollywood is a dirty business and anyone who’s been super successful for a super longtime just can’t be a truly good person ... it is impossible. |
Decades ago, entertainment weekly published an interview with him, and the interviewer just hated on him, pointing out several instances where Hanks was rude, pompous, and condescending during the interview. It really painted a picture and stuck with me all these years. He was such a golden boy—I couldn’t believe they even printed it. But always made me wonder…. |
I've never been able to understand why Tom Hanks is even famous. He's not that talented, he's not handsome, and he has zero sex appeal.
Usually actors who aren't good looking or sexy are talented character actors. |
