Me to the kids yesterday: Don’t open the container of fake eggs in the fridge - those are armageddon eggs. And so it begins...LOL |
Yeah, my house is packed with food and I just ate a few chive dumpligs and a bowl of cereal. I am going to make some kimchi later. |
I was so worn out from prepping the other day I ordered Chinese food delivery

Chinese restaurants need your business! |
| To the NYC apartment dweller who posted the other thread in Food that was locked: my main tip is to buy stuff you’d eat anyway and that is non perishable. I didn’t buy a 25 lb bag of rice because I don’t eat rice. I bought some boxes of pasta, sauce, tuna, peanut butter and jelly, a few frozen things at Costco. No need to go crazy or overthink. Just stock up your kitchen with some basics that won’t go bad. And don’t forget to get food for your dog! |
I think FEMA has some lists on their site. I would think in categories Food pets health (prescriptions, birth control, first aid kit-I focused on fever reducers and inhalers because we have asthma) personal care entertainment |
| I started buying extra food 2 weeks ago, and they’ve eaten half the cheese and lunch meat. Back I go... |
Ok that sounds really good now. I know what we are eating tomorrow night! |
How does your lunch meat last 2 weeks? |
We’ve all lost our minds!
|
Indeed, but at least we are a collective

Not sure it’s been covered but
A thermometer Humidifier Vick’s Tissue We are older and never use a thermometer- checked it today and it was dead ( no battery that can be replaced) |
This was Target as well. No tp, and only banged up containers of Lysol wipes. Looked like a walking dead zone. |
| NYC appt person - you can order extra meals from your takeout places and freeze them (if freezable). We just did this with our favorite takeout place to have fav meal on standby. |

Husband: “I thought that was your quarantine wine.”
Me: Shhh. |
