Senator Kaine just introduced a war resolution opposing involvement in Israel or Iran. Democrats are not interested in the evangelical's war. Nor are they interested in the Big Beautiful Bill. |
DP. MAGA is split on this. The Dems base is done with Israel. People are tired of Israel’s genocide and the pro Israelis calling everyone leftists or Hamas. |
Senator Kaine seems like the exception rather than the norm. Most of the politicians, Democrats and Republicans alike, will comply and obey what their AIPAC handlers tell them. |
The Democrat activist class is done with Israel. Most of the rank and file want the war to stop but don't care enough to do anything about it, like support BDS. |
…or antisemitic. You forgot that one. |
They’re terrified of AIPAC and other powerful pro-Israel lobbies. They won’t do jack. |
Wow. |
AIPAC and Netanyahu have been dictating our foreign policy for more than 30 years. People should go watch Jeffrey Sachs interview where he goes over how he fooled people into Iraq under false pretenses. Remember Netanyahu saying how great the Iraq war would be in front of congress. https://youtu.be/PHzSr52fZLQ |
AIPAC doesn't even register for most rank and file Democrats. People don't care enough to even know their senator, much less individual lobbying groups. Most people just want the war to stop and can't understand why a two state solution hasn't happened already. |
It’s not just the Democratic base. Moderates, who were willing to agree that Israel can defend itself, even with devastating consequences, and who absolutely despise the progressive pro-Palestine rioters, are also extremely opposed to war on Israel’s behalf. Essentially, they won’t stand in Israel’s way, but they draw the line at American involvement. This would be an extremely unpopular war for both parties. |
I don’t think so. This is a very unpopular idea. |
No, but scurrilous patent untruths are. |
Tim Kaine will look so good after this, the DNC will nominate him as presidential candidate for 2028. |
