| No official 'GA2' like MLSN2, DPL is where a lot of 2nd teams for GA clubs play and around here its EDP unless you're TSJFC and you're in NCSL. |

GA2 is just a label that teams in GA slap on the 2nd teams. There is currently no GA2 league to play in, but eventually there may be one like how ECNL-RL was established. |

NWSL has been working with US Soccer MLS and GA have some kind of partnership ECNL is grouping with littles leagues and switching from BY to SY I see ECNL with storm clouds on the horizon from two directions. If NWSL continues working with US Soccer eventually they're going to setup acadamies. If MLS starts playing hardball with MLSN + forcing clubs to go GA there could be issues. |

When clubs switched from ECNL or whatever to DA back in 2016/17 it was a core group that made the initial switch together. Then everyone else followed. When DA blew up there was a core group of clubs that all went to ECNL together. They were all likely playing the package deal game with ECNL + guaranteeing all would be in the same league. After this happened others followed.
If girls ECNL clubs switch to GA you'll likely see the same thing. A core group of high level clubs will all switch together. They'll probably also all get MLSN for their boys. Grouping together + switching at the same time is smart because the clubs involved guarantee a competition level and they can also guarantee other accommodations like entry into MLSN. |

GA needs a GA2 to accommodate ECNL and ECRL teams from a single club switching over. MLS2 is the same thing. |
