the announcement looks like an asst director. He would be smart to leave, but he’s probably too busy with being BOTH boys director and interim GA

How can a small to medium sized club have this many directors and assistant directors? Is every coach a director of something?

It’s a common way to recruit/retain coaches. Give them a title to justify an extra $10K-$20K in compensation.

This. Coaching salaries aren't a sustainable for a job around here. But, then the families are the ones paying the tab

Why are grown men stalking young girls whereabouts. That’s what I’d like to know.

I don't think they realize how weird they are while trying to troll.

I’m a parent with a kid at TSJ and I am ok with the situation. No matter the final score we are getting to compete against other clubs. Doesn’t mean my kid isn’t as good as others. In some respects it provides opportunities you can’t get other places. The pendulum will swing as it always does.

A rational and normal perspective. Very refreshing.

Teams that lose regularly by 5 or more goals will disband. This is rec soccer playing travel. The best players will leave.

TSJFC doesn't care. There are enough parents that will pay to be a part of their "elite" program for the next season.

If 10 players leave, there are 15 families waiting to sign up their kid for a "top" team.

sign up? you mean TSFJC pulling from the rec program and only making the kids buy the uniform?

not a sustainable business model

Which means the level of that team continues to go down until they are out of GA and the "top team" is not special enough to draw in parents.

Is TSJ now hiring chatgpt to write comments on this board? It reads like a JD Vance interview.
