School board reckoning?

Huh, when did Dems start banning books or making it a crime to teach actual American history?

You are very misguided.

Do you really believe that the Revolutionary War was fought over slavery?

Do you really think that the evils of slavery is not taught in American History? Do you not know that Black History is a part of American History? You really think it is only taught in a course called African American History?

You're an idiot. Sorry, you are. And it's not because you "have a different opinion." It's because you're spreading falsehoods, intentionally or not. The fact of slavery is taught. The specifics are far from taught. The effect of slavery is far from taught. Other than Frederick Douglass and Harriet Tubman, how many black people are featured in American History (ditto for women, indigenous people, etc.).

But you are well aware of all of this.

DP, but you seem to be one of those people who thinks what you'd call "true history" must be taught, and anything less than a constant focus on the historical and current oppressed status of Black Americans and other various groups, entitling them to reparations and other forms of preferential treatment in 2023, just won't cut it.

There's history and there's politics. When you insist on making history a mere prelude to your political agenda, you end up with opposing politicians who step in and try to prevent people from teaching history. And then we all lose.
