RW vs LW news

That's exactly what Joe Rogan and others do, in order to peddle disinfo and muddle minds.

I think the analysis is skewed. I would move the middle line to the left about halfway to the next line. I consider BBC, PBS, Reuters to be in the middle. It is interesting how people's perceptions of where the middle is has slowly skewed to the right over the past few decades.

Even in the UK the BBC is considered left leaning.

I considered bbc more fact-based and moderate until I read their rationale for not referring to Hamas as terrorists. Now I consider them ridiculous.

Agree, I am also a liberal, I regularly listen to BBC World Service on WAMU and routinely find myself getting annoyed with BBC's bad takes and annoying interviews, particularly on Gaza lately.

It's weird how some parts of the left have embraced this whole "decolonial" business while embracing views coming from non-western colonizing powers (recall that most of the spread of Islam came about because of violent conquest and colonizing, recall that the reason Russia is so big is because of their conquest and colonizing of Asia)

There aren't any left-wing outlets per se. It's either crazy authoritarian conservative or conservative corporate shill.

But those seem really obvious and I’m sure that there are tons of press agencies that are similarly aligned.

NYT and NPR are center/center-right these days.

American politics have shifted to the right over the past 50 years. I think back on Nixon as the green president who created the EPA or Reagan with his amnesty policy for the undocumented as being extremely progressive by today's standards.

There’s Mother Jones and The Nation and I guess Ms. That’s the whole left wing.

We’re not supposed to notice that the New York Times is the most diligent of GOP election workers.

They are considered liberal because they will report on views that aren't far-right crazy talk and apply basic standards. This would've been centrist or even conservative 30 years ago.

Isn't it ironic how the Republicans were screaming foul at how biased the liberal media was when Trump was president and now how the Democrats are crying foul at how biased the conservative media is with Biden as president. Hey Republicans & Democrats, I have some advice for you- how about trying to elect a real president that is fit for office and then maybe it won't seem like the whole world is against your guy or gal? Not rocket science folks!

They are centrist to conservative. I’m not playing along with the GOP’s little Overton window sliding mess.

And for those who don’t know what the recent Trump stuff is about:

Yes, it's inconvenient to your narrative. When things are, you simply ignore them.
