Is it true that more Congressional man hours were spent on Benghazi than 9/11?

I read that I am astonished by how perverted that is. Six thousand Americans are murdered by terrorists using our our aircraft in our own country and the tragic deaths of four adult volunteers to a war zone gets more investigation.

If true - that is the sick, perversion of the Republican Party.

Agree. It was an extremely weird obsession.

Oddly wrong number of deaths FYI.

Your other info is probably off too. Or you are looking at "congressional" hours for one (Benghazi) who was not the lead on the 9/11 attack.

But you have an agenda. That much is clear.

The witch hunt against the IRS was worse. Huge waste of taxpayer dollars.

Perhaps if the Justice Dept. had done their job, there would have been no need for Congressional hearings.
Wasn’t the Justice Dept. investigating the IRS? Isn’t that what Obama told us would happen?
How is that investigation going?

You're begging the question. Why didn't Congress take the lead in investigating the failures that led to Septmeber 11 (3000 deaths) the way it has obsessed over Benghazi (4 deaths)?

I agree. Just answer the question. Were more congressional hours spend investigating Benghazi than were spend investigating how the 9/11 attacks were allowed to occur?

Shows how truly sick the Republican Party is. It is disgusting.

I would like to know the breakdown of republicans who were exploiting it for political effect knowing it was all bullshit, vs those foolish enough to be gulled into thinking there was something there to investigate.

The Republican party has become such an alliance of the cynical and the stupid.

The 9/11 investigation was done by a commission created by Congress and signed into law by GWB. Regardless of your feelings on this issue Obama would never sign into law a commission to look into Benghazi.

The OP is comparing apples and oranges.

Nothing has come from the congressional witch hunts so why would we expect a different result from justice?

My feelings?! IS there any justification for the Benghazi hearings in comparison to the 9/11 hearings?! Come on! I simply cannot believe this is common knowledge to Republicans and never mentioned! We lost THOUSANDS of innocent civilian lives in the US on 9/11 and lost billions of dollars that will never be re-cooped. We, as a nation were traumatized and all the Republican administration did was give it a cursory look and no blame found?!!!

The 4 brave Americans who died in Libya VOLUNTEERED to a war region and were tragically murdered. It was horrible. But this witch hunt is perverse in light of the 9/11 comparison.

Re: 9/11/2001

1) We know what group did it
2) We know why they did it
3) We know how they got the means to do it
4) We know where the President was when they did it

What I can't believe is even knowing all this, Liberals want to continue (and further) the same loose immigration policies that let these killers into our country.

You are truly warped, PP. We will never know how much the Bush administration knew about the possibility that this would occur and we know there were warnings that no one in the Bush administration took seriously. Where are the hearing to press those issues?

And go back to Middle School Civic Affairs - the Congress is in change of immigration policies. This President has deported more illegals than any president in the last fifty years and has found a way to not only help the Dreamers but also keep track of them.

Seriously, Dude, learn to read and research on your own and turn off Fox Propaganda. You have access to the internet - learn to use it.
