Political Discussion
Just curious, are you the Palestinians are the stupidest people ever poster? |
The fact that another supposedly sentient human being could read those FACTS, and still muster the "Wow, shocked and dismayed" act is pretty hilarious - as if they actually have a basis for believing what they just read is untrue, rather than their dissonance simply being a byproduct of their tribal allegiance. Instead, they continue to believe nonsense. But again, facts are facts (for sane people, anyway): 1. The United States and Americans are criticized and disliked by many in the Middle East (and elsewhere, as evidenced by U.N. votes) for our support of Israel's actions, not because "they hate Western values and our way of life" or for any other reason; 2. Zionists consistently manipulate American foreign policy (through lobbying, primarily) to do the heavy lifting for Israel, regardless the cost to U.S. standing on the global stage, and consistently seek to also manipulate public opinion around Middle East policy; 3. The perpetrators of 9/11 explicitly blamed the failed U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East for their attacks, specifically its blind, unconditional bankrolling of Israel and interference at the U.N. Repeatedly - they repeatedly cited this, and the only people playing the "Western values" con were Zionists and Neocons aligned with the Zionist community. 4. Tens of millions of Americas fell for the con, and continue to. You can clutch your pearls and proclaim shock and dismay all you like, but it's just an inanimate mountain of facts staring down at you. |
Right. Because ending US support for Israel would totally resolve the Sunni/Shiite conflict, plus all the clan/tribal/family issues, plus your garden variety clashes over money, power and territory. FFS. 🤦 |
You don't give AF about anything other than unconditionally defending Israel and preserving the status quo, so save the distractions, pal. The U.S. shouldn't support Israel because it's an apartheid state run by a corrupt war criminal, and because actions have consequences. If the U.S. supports the actions of a scumbag like Bibi and his cronies, don't feign shock when others tell you to your face that they have a problem with it, act on it, and then remind you that they acted on it because they have a problem with it. That's exactly what occurred with 9/11. |
It’s a PR/propaganda issue. In terms of legal/practical implications, it’s meaningless. You’re familiar with provisional measures, right? |
Just scream STATUS QUO - NOTHING CHANGES OR ELSE! at the top of your goddamned lungs at this point. There's no critical analysis going on with you and everyone else desperately clinging onto the dream of keeping Israel safely beyond reproach, the kind of accountability that all nations should be held to. Your motivation is painfully obvious, and anyone can see that Yahweh himself descending from heaven and castigating you for your failed morality wouldn't even dent your true believer hypnosis at this point. You're bought in, fully invested in the tribal propaganda. Just don't expect others to abandon reality ... |
I’m actually a centrist on the Israel/Palestine issue. But your argument about US interests is ludicrous on its face. Rather than make a sensible argument or assessing the facts, you’re frothing. As is quite evident from the fact that you’re using OBL as justification for your position. It’s beyond silly. |
You’ve gone fully mental. You literally claimed that ending support for Israel would solve the ME’s problems. And you accuse me of abandoning reality? That’s truly awesome. Thank you. |
+1 million. |
No, but I hope and pray you'll reciprocate by withholding your Wailing Wall Zaftigs link. Please keep that to yourself. <<shuddering>> |
You're a Zionist, obviously you're wildly partial and hardly a judge of what's reality. |
"Centrist" ... sure, Jan. |
Only if by “Zionist” you mean that I support the sovereignty of all nations. I’m no more partial to Israel than I am to Norway. Now, tell me again how US support for Israel is responsible for the Sunni/Shiite schism? |
Splendid. My position is shared by the vast majority of the US population, and is rejected by both the far left and the far right. I am literally the definition of a centrist on this issue. You?

Iran is a 5,000 year old civilization and, despite Israel's repeated attempts to provoke them into attacking IDF ( to give them a pretext to bomb Iran), they are showing restraint. Albeit, they have outed the USA for their behind the scenes statements to them that " the USA wants no war with Iran and wants no escalation" In contrast, Israel was formed only about 80 years ago and in those 80 years has started multiple wars, brutalized their Palestinian cousins and forced their displacement , bombed Lebanon to such an extent that it created the conditions of decades of instability, created spyware that has destroyed the foundations of privacy, freedom of speech, diplomacy in the world and is now, in just 80 years since it's founding, committing Genocide. Israel and the USA's unilateral support of its aggression towards ALL of it's neighbor's is the cause of Middle East instability, not Iran. Further, the Ayatollahs and the Iranian mullah's in general were the CIA's choice to overthrow the elected government of the Iranian people under Mosadegh |
