I used to love OB tampons but lately they just don't seem to working like they used to. What brand do you use for your heaviest/heavy days?

This totally!! I wish I had discovered this in my teens. Changed my world. When my girls get their period I will show them the instead cup.

What is the cup? It just collects the blood as it pools in a cup inside your vagina? And you empty it out every so often? If so, isn't that really messy???

It's VERY messy. The bowl looks like you just killed something in it. But it all flushes away.

Playtex Super Plus in place of the OB Ultras. Discovered them when OB stopped making the Ultras for a while a few years back. Playtex are better than Tampax because they expand all the way around, not in a rectangle shape. I wish I had the courage to use an instead cup. I tried years ago before I had kids and couldn't make it work for me.

The cups can be hard to figure out. It took me 5 cycles to be able to insert it correctly so that it doesn't leak, but I'm SO glad I stuck with it. I would never go back to tampons now!

I like the Playtex Sport. They leak way less than the other Playtex or Tampax. Nothing expands in me, no matter what, so shapes don't matter. It's more about the engineering of how it absorbs.
