So sad this keeps happening.

I saw this this morning, before they released the name of the attacker. It's a shame, I just knew it was going to be a Muslim name when they announced it.

Really? I would have expected it to be a white guy. Isn't that the default assumption in these cases? Angry white men = domestic terrorist?

A NAME DOES NOT EQUAL A MOTIVE!!!!!

I agree but in this instance shooting and killing militany with sniper like weapons would make me think terrorism.

My heart goes out to the families of those murdered.

Scum of the earth. So glad he is dead. Hope they find and arrest any others who conspired with him.
I fear there will be more attacks like this one.
I hope our military conducts air strikes out the wazoo as an answer to this terrorist act.

It doesn't take a conspiracy to shoort up an office. Just some guy with a gun.

A very similar attack recently took place in Dallas. However, the attacker was an American (and he had an armored vehicle). Did you immediately propose air strikes against the Dallas suburb in which he lived? Do you base all of your reactions on names or do you normally try to be a bit more thoughtful than that?

Right because white guys who commit mass shooting choose churches, theaters, schools, and if they go with the "classic" -- clock towers.

I'm really surprised is wasn't a woman in pink protesting the military.

Not air strikes in the US. Air strikes against ISIS - in the Middle East once they know where his contact originated. And, they will find out. Of that, I am certain.
When ISIS tweets about the attack BEFORE it happens, seems that maybe they had something to do with it.

So we should just bomb a town and kill everyone - men, women, children - because a few ISIS people are there?
No wonder we have a bad reputation.

What timestamps does Twitter put on tweets? Here is the tweet in question:

https://twitter.com/K_H_O7777777777/status/621734561228177408

It is timestamped "1:34 PM - 16 Jul 2015" which is after the attack was launched.

According to this article:

http://www.timesfreepress.com/news/local/story/2015/jul/16/breaking-shots-fired-tennessee-riverpark-chattanooga/314944/

the attacker was busted for a DUI three months ago. That would cause me to question his devotion to Islam.

Edit: Interestingly, Pam Geller's screen capture of the same tweet has a different timestamp. Her's says 10:34 which is about the time of the shooting. Apparently, Twitter sets your timezone based on the timezone in your settings. My settings are for US/Eastern which is the same timezone for Chattanooga. So, it seems that Geller may have her timezone set incorrectly and the tweet was not sent when she thinks it was.
