W1 is Jordan Wallace, aspiring race car driver, who also lied about his address in Annapolis. The house is empty and for sale, says FOX news.

Click bait. Nothing new and hyped up to get viewers. The police know where the assistant is and he is successfully avoiding the media. That doesn't make him "MIA", that makes him smart.

I agree, it's hype. They have this FORMER district attorney talking, which made it sound like he (this DA) was directly involved in the case and was calling on Wallace to come in and answer questions.

The bolded is not true. I watched the report a second time to confirm. Miller said that she tried to contact the assistant via social media and was unsuccessful. That a social media account said that he lived in Annapolis. They then showed his mother's home and said it was his mother's home and was for sale. Miller never said that the assistant gave an address more specific than "Annapolis", let alone the address of his mother's home. Moreover, that was simply something he put on social media and may well have been out-of-date.

Also, the former prosecutor they interviewed is a first-class idiot. His speculation about why the assistant said the car was locked was ridiculous.

I've always thought that Fox 5 didn't suffer from "Fox News Syndrome", but that was pure tabloid TV.

Fox news is probably getting their information from his last known address from his previous court case. If that is the case, yes, that house is up for sale, empty, and you can virtual tour online but that doesn't mean he didn't move to another house in Annapolis

I thought W1 had been previously named by other websites. I am not understanding why Fox made this out to be such a big deal. Did by clarify what they meant by MIA? I thought he was very much around?

"MIA" means that he didn't respond to Emily Miller. She explicitly said that the police know where he is.

PP here, wow, I don't even own a TV or watch news, but realize how easy it is to be swayed by the overall vibe on the screen. I thought the guy was a sitting District Attorney, the boss of it all. I can only pray that Robin Ficker's antics are not similarly persuasive to the gullible!

I did manage to comprehend that JW is evading the press, at least.

Is it safe now to talk about the assistant?

The house was put on the market very recently-townhouse II should say. Neighborhood has a seemingly high crime rate-lots of burglaries and some assaults.

Not really. I think Fox did this guy a real disservice. I really don't believe there is cause for making him the center of a hundred conspiracy theories.

Emily Miller does not necessarily have the best journalistic track record.
