That might all be true, but this wasn't a graduation. Even in the slightest. It was a joke.

True - but to me the more concerning thing about him is his seeming lack of ability (or maybe lack of caring) of how he is being perceived. He is not a kid in his teens or 20s. He is a grown man, dating the most famous popstar in the world, with endless opportunities for his post-football future in front of him. Nobody’s saying he has to become a stick in the mud, but does he even consider that the stuff he does (thinking back to his drunken antics at the parade) could jeopardize not only future opportunities, but a relationship with someone who means so much to him? Or at the very least, typecast him? As much as I love them together, this is the area that would concern me the most.

You're personally concerned? You're concerned? Concerned? I can't imagine being concerned about someone who has nothing to do with the well being of me or my family or at least someone I know.

I never said I was personally concerned. If I were Taylor, or anyone actually in a relationship with him, then yes I would be concerned.

"to me the more concerning thing"

"that would concern me the most"

He hasn't abused women or children. I'm not aware that he's been arrested or otherwise accused of illegal or dangerous behavior. What do you want to see happen because you don't like him?

Wasn't he kicked out of college for drugs or something?

so 15 years ago and it seems like he suffered a consequence

+ 1- neither graduated college and both are “successful” in professions that require looking good not being smart

how utterly ignorant and elitist to equate being smart with attending college.

Not what I said. Their professions don’t require being smart, doesn’t mean they aren’t just they chose having a good body as a profession over something that requires a high level of intellectual thought in a day to day basis.

Both are talented in their own profession which is why they are successful.

They are not both in professions that are based on "good looks". That profession would be modeling. They ARE both in professions that require innate talent coupled with grueling amounts of practice to get to the top. You can be talented and lazy or hard-working and of limited ability---but you only get to win multiple Grammies or the Super Bowl if you have the talent AND the work ethic.

I'm gonna stick with you're ignorant and naive to insist that attending college proves anything.

I disagree and didn’t realize
This would be controversial. A large Taylor swift would not be as successful. The singers who are merger are known for singing skills not songwriting. And yes being a tight end requires a tight in shape end.

Grueling physical practice to dance and play a sport isn’t a bad thing. It just doesn’t require intellectual academic talent. Why is this controversial? It think it makes
Them a good match.
Never mind clearly I hit lots of nerves and will leave you all alone now- sorry didn’t mean any harm!

He clearly hasn't changed

He actually did earn his degree. And, not for nothing, but Taylor does not have a college degree. I wouldn't call her stupid or a meathead!

This is good content for the song after they break up

He clearly hasn't changed

Has he been charged with a drug offense or arrested in the last 15 years?
Or do college drug users all end up in the successful in the NFL and dating successful women?
