Playing football doesn't prove anything either. There are many college and pro players who are endowed physically and athletically with exceptional coordination and a risk- taking personality. Having above average intelligence is not a requirement.

Did he show poor judgement doing so? Yes
Did he benefit from his brother's help and get the benefit of the doubt that others dot? Yes
Did he go on to achieve success in the NFL? Yes
Is his behavior around alcohol concerning considering his age(well into adulthood)and high profile? Yes
