War with Iran

There were hundreds of thousands of deaths in Iraq following the toppling of Saddam, due to lawlessness and the complete destruction of state services and infrastructure.

We may celebrate the death of autocratic leaders but the big problem is what follows after their death - the transition to a new, stable government.

This is what the US had always had trouble with. American leaders just don’t care what happens to innocent civilians in foreign lands , no matter what they say, and even if they used their “ liberation” as a pretext for war.

Regime change in countries in the ME won't change their murderous ways and the suffering of the innocent people in the region. This tale is as old as time.

WTH are you even talking about? The Iranian people are celebrating.

Let's hope regime change in Iran is successful as regime change in Iraq and Afghanistan were... /s. It always seems to make sense at first.

The US has already done this once in Iran and failed miserably. Now the clown show republicans party is giving it a try?

Has the White House released the plans for a Trump Tower in Tehran yet?

And in Iraq and Afghanistan, the US had forces there to choose and prop up the new government. If the Iranian regime falls, who knows what we’ll get. As bad as the current government is, there are worse people in that part of the world and they will take advantage of a moment to seize power.

The avg American who thinks they're intelligent, is among the stupidest on earth, esp., you old ones who were around for Iraq and didn't learn a damned thing.

You think killing the Supreme ldr, makes who comes next better?

Why in the hell are so many of you, so incredibly proud of being myopic, provincial idiots? It's astonishing. You sit there watching your MSM crap where it's just "journalists" interviewing the same bloodthirsty neocons/Zionists who have completely annihilated FP for generations.

You think the former AQ leader who replaced Assad is better? No, he's just servile enough to sacrifice Syria for isr.

A moron thinks Eeee-rrrhan will be in a better place after this. Weird that any Iranian thinks their best interests are at the forefront. Get a mirror. You're not white. Be servile to isr and let them and the west steal the oil. That's all this is about.

Again more propaganda. There over 10,000 clerics in the state of Iran all fit in to a nice orderly succession plan and the IRGC are the true hardliners.

Let’s see how pro Israel the next leader of Iran is.

You fail to acknowledge that the next leader of Iran, hardliner or not, might alter his behavior in light of what has just happened.

Disagree. If Israel’s regime was changed there would be a chance at peace and prosperity in the region. Israel just wants a failed state for Iran like it has created for all its neighbors.

It's sad to say because the majority of Middle Eastern people are innocent humans living under tyranny but the world may be better off just letting them kill each other until the bitter end.

Right on. Anyone who has clue for what's been going for the past 20 plus years in the Middle East can see this.

What's the common denominator.

Hint: It beings with I and ends in L.

Alternatively, begins with Z and ends in M.

There are a couple of ME countries that aren't under as awful leadership as Israel, SA, and Iran but for the most part, the ME is a hell hole of tyranny.

The lessons Iran will learn from this is build your nuclear weapons quicker and with the help of the Pakistani and North Koreans.

Second if you build up Hezbollah use them to attack Israel as soon as you can. Do not let the Israelis strike first.

IRGC are a lot more practical in this regard vs the clerics. The clerics cooperated with the west and look where it got them.
