Iran's ability to build 80,000 drones would be significantly hampered by their dependence on certain electronic and mechanical components, many of which they've had to source from the west via black market etc - and it's doubtful they've gotten them in consistent and reliable numbers for large scale production of tens of thousands of drones.

The Iranian drone strike that killed 6 U.S. troops in Kuwait at the start of the war was far more devastating than previously disclosed.

Dozens suffered traumatic brain injuries, burns, and shrapnel wounds. At least one required an amputation. More than 30 remain hospitalized.

Yes, I read that one of the servicemen had both legs amputated.

Ukraine produced roughly 4 million drones in 2025. And they did this under a constant state of war. Russia too is very advanced with drone warfare and have do doubt helped Iran, which is already very advanced with drone technology. Counting on Iran to run out of drones would be a delusional assumption.
