Why are younger men so right wing?

They keep saying no one has been harmed and will not engage with the posts about the rape of 2 Loudoun teens. I believe this is called erasure.

The gender change thing really affects young Women the most. It’s unsafe for men to be allowed in women’s spaces period

Yes, by far the biggest threat to the safety of young women are trans people. Oh, wait, that might be a little off.

Statistically a young woman is vastly more likely to be shot to death in their k12 classroom or on their college campus than to be sexually assaulted by a transwoman. But we are told "too bad, there's nothing that can be done about those shootings, maybe you just need to start lugging a Glock around in the asscrack of your leggings, young lady."

What a crazy world the GOP has put us in.

This dismissive approach towards women's rights isn't helping your case.

Why are you so dismissive toward the much bigger issues of the GOP's eroding of women's rights and control over their lives and bodies? Why are you so dismissive over the gun control crisis? Of the affordability crisis that leaves so many women trapped in bad situations? Why are we supposed to make transwomen the top issue when SO MANY OTHER, FAR BIGGER issues are dragging women down?

Hm. Just because those are your priorities, does not mean that everyone else should care for them. Clearly, majority of the people in this country voted for different priorities. Again, I don't know who you referring to as "we", but for some people that is a top issue. For some women, it is a FAR BIGGER issue than any of those outlined in your post.

Except in the grand scheme of things, her "legitimate concern" is something that impacts .000004 of 1% of the country. It is a miniscule event that has almost zero chance of ever actually impacting her.

Why are you minimizing women's concern about this?

Why are you grossly overhyping the concern? Is denying base rate a bug or a feature for you? Your argument seems to depend on it. That's not minimization of concern, it's pointing out argumentation fallacy.

A young woman has a statistically MUCH higher chance of dying from a reaction to a bee sting than of being sexually assaulted by a trans woman or losing a scholarship to a trans woman. Of being killed by a lightning strike. Of being killed by a fridge or piece of furniture falling on them. Being shot in a mass shooting. Being hit by a car. And so on.

I think you should just acknowledge that you believe it is an acceptable risk for women to have to manage in previously female spaces. That is at least an honest conversation, vs pretending that this roll out has been without any problems.

It's odd they quote how rare it is because there are so few trans, but then they throw a fit if we don't accommodate the 1 in 10000.

Math isn't their sport.

At least this is a more honest take. Seems like you’re acknowledging that trans people aren’t a threat but you just don’t want to accommodate them. A lot of people feel this way about people who practice different religions, people with disabilities, anyone who is not exactly like them. Is that you?

I don't read it that way. I think she acknowledged they are a threat and they are rare.

Here's the superintendent of Loudon County Public Schools acknowledging that their policy of allowing so-called trans people into girls locker rooms led to two rapes. After the first girl was raped, they transferred the trans student to another school, where he raped another girl. When one of the fathers brought this up at a school board meeting, they had him arrested. This mea culpa came after months of them calling everyone homophobes. They didn't have any concern for the raped teen girls whatsoever. But they did the right thing and acknowledged that they didnt provide a safe environment.

A certain percentage of people claiming to be trans are actually AGPs. Any honest discussion will admit this. You're okay with having AGPs get into the locker rooms along with the trans, and for women to be raped by them. I mean, just admit it. Then we can go about installing better security in women's spaces, demanding the presence of guards, etc.

We can’t take people that vote for and support pedophiles seriously when talking about children’s concerns. MAGA is the LAST source anyone should be looking to.

To clarify, are you claiming this isnt a real story?

He was indicted and found guilty. Then set free when he turned 18. https://www.wusa9.com/article/news/crime/teen-convicted-of-rape-in-loudoun-county-school-bathroom-free-man-as-of-his-18th-birthday/65-27dcefa6-2eb0-4657-8477-db87a9ecc40f

Different people have different priorities. Stop deflecting.

Why are you so dismissive of those fighting to protect women’s rights to sex-based protections?

It is 100% my top priority and I won’t apologize for that.

Omg, you posted this while I was writing great last post!

You have literally made this the priority on your life. How sad for you!

PS, you’ll get over it.

Why is it bother you so much that other people have different priorities in their lives? We come from different cultures, religions, countries, of course we all have different priorities. Wishing that other people change their believes to have a uniform compliance to your ideas are communist ideas.

You could abandon the ridiculous take that we can't have common sense gun reforms. You could abandon the ridiculous take that we can't tax the rich and need to give them tax cut after tax cut. You could abandon the ridiculous take that we can't impose strict campaign finance limitations. You could abandon the ridiculous take that we can't afford healthcare and mental health treatment. I could go on and on and on and these are much bigger and more serious issues affecting women than your bogeyman trans women issue.

And here you are appropriating a term for your own divisive purpose. Black Live Matter because black people are shot in the back by cops, are kneed to death by cops, are shot in their apartments by cops with almost no repercussion. You don't see the same issues between police and white people at any rate close to for black people. So awareness had to be raised. But leave it to the white folks to weaponize the term for their own benefit. Totally tracks. Thanks for making the point.
