Regarding the Reddit thread: There’s no way that someone on the outside could have just made all that up. It lines up too perfectly, right down to the “sexy” comment, the TS song stuff, the NYT angle, and the Sony execs just rolling over.

It’s also interesting that that person who posted the tea, further down in the thread, says the gist of it was that people thought BL had blown stuff out of proportion and taken stuff out of context (in regard to JB harrassing her).

The Reddit post makes certain things make sense and it’s not like Owens made the post up. It explains why Bradley Cooper was thanked in the It Ends With Us credits, and explains why the movie got a new score when filming was almost totally done (to appease Swift.)

It seems crazier and crazier that Lively went to the Times with this. Very self-destructive.

She just can’t stand the way he’s being bullied and is digging into the truth of how they went from totally chummy on set to Ryan setting out to take him down. She makes a very compelling case for jealousy followed by Bl throwing Baldoni under the bus to save herself from RE’s wrath and then her narcissists allowing RR to convince her that JB must be sabotaging the sake of her hair care line in retaliation. It’s next level crazy on the part of BL and RR but I love that Candace is invested and keeping people informed.

I think Candace’s involvement is hurting Justin more than helping him, since now people will associate him with conservatives. Maybe I’m wrong though and more people are persuaded by her than they otherwise would’ve been.

It’s possible.
But to me it’s compelling because it’s so obvious that there is no bias there. Literally no common ground for her to just jump in and defend him. At all.
She has no dog in this fight and is just digging around for truth—and would have been just as happy to expose him if it led to that!

He developed a podcast about toxic masculinity with a woman as cohost and pursued the rights and development to a female authors book about DV. No one honest is confusing him with a conservative.

There was a Hollywood Reporter article trying to damage his reputation by saying he’s garnered support among the right including by Candace and Megyn, which I think sucks, because I don’t want support to be divided among those lines when it should be okay for liberals/the left to find his claims credible too. They will wave it off as an example if the smear. Most of the original comments, however, are from people who are saying, eww, looks like JB is a sexual harasser. It certainly didn’t paint him in a positive light. It only looks like some sort of masterful PR in hindsight, now that everything is out there. It would def have been masterful if someone knew exactly how this would all play out.
