Like taking Brittany Mahomes under her wing or publicly supporting Sophie Turner during her divorce from Joe Jonas. It's one of the ways she flexes her power, by using her umbrella to support and defend her friends, especially when she feels they are being treated badly by the press or other powerful people. Basically exactly what Lively describes in her "khaleesi" text, actually. That's what Taylor does and she's proud of it.

Notices that all the instances you mentioned are Taylor flexing her power on her terms. SHE took out Sophie Turner, SHE made the decision to hang with Brittany. Someone invoking her in text isn't really the same thing. I'm not necessarily disagreeing with you, I'm just saying I don't think it's that unbelievable she'd be annoyed, just like I wouldn't be surprised if she weren't annoyed. Could go either way.

Lively didn't "invoke" TS. It's clear Baldoni was upset about TS talking to him about Lively's scene and that he'd complained about it. Lively is responding to that. She didn't spontaneously say "you know I'm BFFs with Taylor Swift, right?"

Taylor chose to read Lively's scene and chose to talk to Baldoni about it. I'm sure Lively encouraged that but I struggle to believe TS would do that against her will.

There’s been multiple sources reporting that Taylor was not planning on being in the meeting, I guarantee you she didn’t give BL to refer to her as a dragon in a text.

It would be insanely controlling of your friend need you to get permission for how you might describe them to a third party. Also, Lively clearly calls Reynolds and Swift her "dragons" in a complimentary way. She is saying they are powerful and impressive. I have no idea why anyone would think Swift would be upset about anything Lively says in that text, other than the fact that her Game if Thrones reference is cringey. But everyone has written a cringey text at some point.

Really? I think it’s quite blatant that Lively is using her proximity to TS to get something for herself. I don’t think TS would like to be used like that. (not to mention the cringe worthy self-aggrandizement in calling herself “Khaleesi.”)
