This is alot of crying about a coach that has coached his team to the top of the table in the first half of the season. Some of what was said is a flat out lie, some was just misleading at best, and the rest was crap from what we can guess is a salty parent who's kid wasn't good enough to make the 2012 team and is now playing at a different club.

You can't possibly be giving credit to DB for the success of a team that was dominating before he got there. If anything they are not living up to their potential with multiple ties against mediocre teams in league play this year.

It’s all DB! Those girls never won until he showed up!
They were top of the table pre-ecnl. This team was good before he got there. How is the 2011 team doing this year compared to last year? Last year 2011s had RP (I believe) and DB now. This team would be the most compatible benchmark for results.

The players he brought in for the 11’s this year made them slightly better. They can actually score at times compared to last year.
um last year they had 30 goals…… out of respect for RP and the girls who were on and are still on the team….lets not rewrite history. Def not the strongest showing but they did score. https://public.totalglobalsports.com/public/event/2839/individual-team/4369/57280

Slightly better is accurate as you guys will have to double or exceed your output for the rest of the season to beat last years count.

Goooood luck yall!!!! Count is 16 currently.

Are you considering it’s only 22 games this year compared to 24 last year?
ill interject and say probably not. But reading n through the history i think they dont care and are making the pt that the team scored last year in direct conflict w an obvious news ish 2011 parent or coach. Anyways lets
Get back to the nepo talk…. How will this continue w the upcoming age group changes?

That would then make it 28 goals scored over 24 games.

At NVA? 100%

If these kids are good enough to play up it shouldn’t matter. If they are not then yes nepotism

4th graders kid play up in 7th graders groups, 100% nepo!

They are lead scorers playing 3+ games all fall. Cope harder about your average player. Those girls are amazing everyone knows it.
first the 2013s you talking about are 6th graders. The 2014 is a 5th grader and shes not the leading scorer. Shes too tiny but yes scored off a free kick.

Is TD's DD better than all the 2013's at LS AND all the 2012's who did not make it to the team?

Yes --> No Nepo

No ---> Nepo.

Anyone on that team can score a free kick, 2013 is a very strong team.

Isn’t this 5th grader also playing with 7th graders and also getting handpicked to play with the boys? I am not sure how anyone can pretend nepotism is not at play.

Yep. Nice when you get all the opportunities to develop

You guys are looking at the wrong stats for the goals over the years comparison. You should look at who’s scoring. I know for one of the teams mentioned above about 80% of the goals have come from the new players and not the existing.

we get it. Ur proud ur DC is scoring on an ecnl team. Congratulations on ur kids participation ribbon. I think the pt that was made reading back was that the team had no issues scoring last year as well. Which reading even farther back was the opposite of a false claim made that the team had issues scoring. If u really want to go there…I know u guys had injuries and lineup changes that ur coach handled. Dont think for a second the older girls on that team cant hold their own and then some. Weve watched them over the years and they are solid kids when healthy. I hope it comes together for u guys before tryouts… truly hope so.

With that said can we get back to our NEPO discussions. I wish my Kid had opportunities for free kicks. Crazy to see i was not imagining things…. The idea people are celebrating this bothers me

I heard the same thing about scoring too. Where did these kids come from? It would have been interesting if the Valor girls went there but some went FVU and the rest SYC. I believe most of them did not go there because he was the coach.

I don’t think any of those Valor kids were good enough anyways

2010 boys? They are the top DMV 2010 boys team and most boys in the area would pick to be on the top team regardless of the coach, just the way it is. Makes for a crappy environment if you ask me.

We will never know because all of those kids decided to go elsewhere and not even tryout there, but keep telling yourself that. FVU and NVA are neck and neck in rankings, so not sure why you think the players who went there were not good enough for NVA. The SYC team has been killing it.
