Here is how to transfer to any high school in the area

Did any kids from the Hayfield team last year even get to play in the game?

These aren't fairfax county students.

They are maryland, DC and prince William county students.

These players would be nationally ranked in their own school districts without having to cheat at hayfield.

That being said, the real issue is the money collection and the money that is missing.

Fcps has VERY strict rules on how money can be collected for activities and sports.

If a booster club collects money outside FCPS, like a band booster club or theater patron club, they must present a very detailed yearly budget in writing each year to the members showing what was collected, how much was collected, how it was collected, and how it was spent.

They cannot collect money via a 3rd party app in the way the "team mom" did. It cannot go to an individual. It must go to the official organization with a board and treasurer.

If she is now a FCPS employee, isn't all of that fundraising stuff FOIA able, including whose name the account was set up under, any communication about the money collectjon including on their personal devices, how much money was collected, who had access to the money and how it was withdrawn and spent?

I don't know what the rules are for kids attending if their parents work at the school. I thought that was just for teachers (he is not a real teacher.) and that you had to live somehwre in Fairfax but who knows what is really going on over there. Shady.

FCPS is very short on teachers and subs.

I know of many people who have moved into the district from out of state, some with teachers licenses and a few with very in demand past teaching careers such as special ed, who try to apply to FCPS for either teaching or subbing.

It takes months to get the background check to even be allowed into the school as an employee.

Some of these people end up giving up and taking other jobs due to the process taking so long.

This is for teaching and substitute teacher jobs, which are high need right now.

How is his football cadre getting through this process so quickly, for jobs that are not high need jobs, when subs and teachers are taking months?

This is true-FCPS take forever to move people through the hiring process.

Well head coaches may make 5 grand per year and the assistants are mostly volunteers. If they start paying coaches what they are worth, maybe the hiring process could be more selective.

We’ll go ahead and FOIA what you are looking for.

To the Cowardly RACIST hiding behind the keyboard posting as “Anonymous”…… if you feel so strongly to suggest everyone write the superintendent and “tell her how we are disgusted our taxpayer money is paying for these Prince William county kids to attend school”. If you feel that strongly why are you redacting your real identity?

I heard he wasn't even allowed keys to the building at his last school and was asked to leave.

How is it "racist" to expect people to follow the rules and reside in the correct school boundary?

You are making slanderous allegations against a man who’s been investigated lots of times by PW County and now Fairfax County and been found not to have committed those violations.
I can believe racism has a lot to do with this. The white supremacists of PW County wanted a white coach. They didn’t support the man. His team went undefeated, won the championship, and the school wouldn’t even provide transportation to the championship game last season.
Eventually a coach like him will get fed up with the racism and he will take a job at a private school where he will get the compensation and support he deserves from the community he serves.

Hope he goes soon and takes his unethical practices with him.

It seems like a private school would be a better fit for him, if he has this many problems at every public school he tries to go to. He doesn't seem interested in following rules.

My kids have had lots of FCPS coaches for many different sports, and none of them have ever been investigated or involved in any kind of controversy whatsover. They just coach the neighborhood kids who show up for tryouts and follow the rules.

The common denominator is HIM, as Dr Phil would say.

It's not about how selective the hiring process is or isn't, it's that this guy's brother was somehow able to be hired quickly while it takes months to "onboard" teachers and subs, even in high needs areas.

At least 2 from last year. Hayfield had a legit D1 player (Navy commit) last year and he is still playing this year. Also a very smart kid (1550 sat) who is probably more of a DII academic school type. Also played significant time against WSHS.
