Everyone schedules a few games to ensure the bottom half of the roster plays. Surprised a national ranked team scheduled an average Virginia public. |
Do the coaches know each other or have connection - Riverside & Landon. I thought Riverside has a lot of depth on the bench. |
Landon has historically always had a NOVA public program on its schedule. I know in recent years they have played Robinson and Madison... so NO it doesn't surprise that they are playing Riverside. I'd also give some credit to the Riverside coaching staff, NOVA publics are extremely limited on how many non-league games they can schedule. I know in the past they have challenged themselves by playing Gonzaga. |
Landon asst and Riverside coach coached together at NB game. |
Riverside also won that game BTW |
Riverside beat STAB in Charlottesville this past season also. |
Believe it was a scrimmage, not an actual game. Riverside should be good next year about the same as they always are. |
That's because you have an inflated sense of worth and think you're a lot better than you are. Change those, you'll be surprised less. |
I think it's great that the two programs are playing (assuming this is true and not rumor)
Yes, Landon will be the heavy favorite but I wouldn't sleep on Riverside. Two seasons ago, they did sneak up on Gonzaga and upset the Eagles on their turf field. |
Riverside lost to STA 5-10 last year. Landon's JV would beat Riverside. |
Yeah, no they wouldn't. Riverside is still beating privates in Virginia. What number and team are you on? Would like to track. |
I think there’s a thread for public school lacrosse. |
. Riverside. Yawn. No one cares. Stay on the public page |
I’m sure Landon is very concerned lol… |
Any WCAC or IAC program load up on some marquee transfers this off-season?
I’m assuming Prep did as their JV was awful this past Spring and have some big holes to fill at all areas of the field. Landon? SJC? Bullis? Gonzaga? |
