I am so sorry that happened to you. And stories like yours are exactly what my post was referring to.

My best to you and your family and I will continue to fight so that your heartbreaking story doesn’t become even worse for the next person caught in that situation

You don’t need to move. If they need an abortion, just drive across the border. It’s right there.

No, the whole point is the DRAMA.

Not wanting to lose my basic civil rights is…”drama”? Republicans are horrible.

Get a grip. The drama is the constant announcements that you’re going to “move” - first it was due to Trump, now it’s over abortion. Interestingly, none of you ever move. You just love the grand announcements. So tiresome.

I didn’t say that about Trump. ?

I am seriously considering options to move my family and business if the Republicans take over the General Assembly. I don’t want my kids growing up in a state that doesn’t value women and I don’t want my taxes to fund those mfers.

Promises, promises, no one ever follows through.

You are actually going to go with the narrative that he was “laughing at unsolved rape cases” - after he just described solving a woman’s rape case and the woman thanking him for it 30 years later? You are the very definition of unhinged.

He did laugh about it.

"Was that the only one we ever solved? [laugh laugh] Yeah, we don't want to get into that."

And once you consider the plethora of property, sales, and business taxes, along with an overabundance of regulation and high costs of living that pervade so-called "blue states," you'll likely reconsider and stay put.

I grew up in an area that actually values education. And women.

I have no problem paying more taxes for higher-quality services. And basic human rights.

OP just one more night then it is all over. Not sure if you will get what you want. But in or polarized society there will be some winners and some losers and probably one or two races to close to call.

Between fear of increasing crime and abortion bans, I think that crime will have more resonance in this election.

Not to anyone with a uterus or anyone who cares about people with a uterus.

Currently, Virginia’s abortion limit is at 26 weeks’ 6 days’ gestation. That limit would address your devastating diagnosis. I don’t see Rs succeeding in pushing back even if they had both upper and lower GA.

They have already proposed THREE abortion ban bills this year. They will do it if they hold the GA.

PP You can't be serious? Youngkin is on record that he will support any ban that comes across his desk. Most likely it will be 12 weeks but even if 15 weeks, here is a FACT. Every. Single State. that has implemented more restrictions since the fall of Roe sees a DECREASE in healthcare outcomes overall. That means higher infant mortality, hospital closings, and lower new healthcare providers staying in state/coming to state. Do we really want to be Alabama?

People still don't want to see the obvious. When someone shows you who they are, believe them.

The Democrats hold a narrow lead in the Senate (2 seats) and can block.
