Just catching up this morning on the last few weeks of news coverage here stateside, and came across the revolting incident late last month involving a CBS "journalist" doing the usual Zionist bullshit with an accomplished guest who dared to call balls and strikes fairly in their coverage of the Middle East conflict.

Why do we tolerate people at the table with blatant conflicts of interest? This "journalist" has an ex-wife and two children living in Israel, is currently married to a Jewish woman, and has converted to Judaism himself. How on earth was he even allowed to participate in ANY conversation involving accountability for Israel's policies and actions?

Why do we continue to tolerate only Jewish voices at the table when the self-styled "Jewish homeland" is repeatedly engaged in what an array of established, reputable human rights organizations have characterized as genocide? Did we permit members of the Nazi party to occupy every seat at the table in the 1930s and 1940s, and allow them drive the conversation regarding their own actions during WWII?

It's insanity. We are living during a time when the credibility of the U.S. is being cleaved away at an unprecedented rate, and the best we can do is double down with so many individuals possessed of outrageous conflicts of interest driving our national conversation?

Those criticizing Israel aren't being entirely objective and aren't calling the balls and strikes either. For example Israel's strikes around Beirut. The critics yell about how Israel is bombing residential areas, but conveniently leave out the fact that the bombings have been resulting in many secondary explosions (Hezbollah ammunition cooking off), even uncontrolled Hezbollah rockets flying off in random directions as a result of the bombing. Hezbollah has been attacking Israel for decades, and has massive stockpiles of weapons that they use, many of those weapons received from Iran. Those are in fact legitimate targets. It's Hezbollah's fault if nearby civilians get injured or killed, because even if Israel had not attacked, the same secondary explosions could have happened if there were an accidental fire. The weapons caches should never have been in civilian areas. This same thing repeated itself throughout Gaza as well. Yet nobody criticizing Israel ever seems to be able to bring themselves to admit facts like this.

DP. Those criticizing Israel are not allowed on US media. Jake Tapper Will not have anyone on who is critical of Israel.

Zionists are whiners who can't handle ANY debate. They repeat the same nonsense over and over again and the media will never allow anyone to challenge them because they will LOSE. They embarrass themselves when out of their safespaces and scream about "antisemitism." They want intelligent college students to ignore what they see, ignore what they've learned about history and just bleat "oCt 7." They want Zionists on campus to be coddled and using their religion as a cudgel to silence those who have every right to loathe Israel as an AMERICAN TAXPAYER witnessing their country diminish itself, breaking the law, sending hundreds of billions, shaming themselves at the UN, all for for an OCCUPATION. They don't want students knowing Israel has done countless "Oct 7s" over 75 years...but too late, they do.

Have the guts to watch the debate between Eylon Levy and Mehdi Hasan. It sums up how stupid and hyperbolic the entire premise of Zionism has always been. They can't argue for sh*t. US media purposely keeps one side off the panels because the Pro-Palestinian side will always have Zionists in the fetal position by the end. You're losing. Accept it.

Israel has no defense for what it has been doing from its inception. None.

Will we be getting a Congressional hearing about racist garbage like this student or will we just keep getting hyperbolic drivel from Zionists demanding safespaces for their fellow "victims" like her?

How about this? Any Congressional hearings planned or nah?

Here's why Zionism's demise is just a matter of time. Absolute psychos. And you wonder why college students aren't going along with this level of idiocy and despicable hate:

As bad as the Israeli Zionists are, and they are awful, American Zionists are even worse because they facilitate and defend occupation and genocide from the comfort of their living rooms in Bethesda, NW, and Great Falls. They fully subscribe to the philosophy that every attack on Israel is existential and should be met with overwhelming, disproportionate, and asymmetrical violence and murder. That's an easier position to take, of course, when American taxpayers have been ripped off to fund the Israeli killing machine to the tune of billions (all while the quality of life in the USA plummets and the basic needs of many citizens go unmet).

America may still be on Israel's side, but the world is not, and America is rendering itself increasingly irrelevant by allowing itself to be a puppet of a bunch of maniacal, paranoid Zionists.

Several kids playing soccer were killed in Gaza today when they were bombed by Israel.

Palestinians have been dehumanized so much that I doubt that this strike will even get two lines in the mainstream news.

What a tragedy.

I’m asking sincerely: is there any list of proven antisemitism on college campuses over the past year and a week? Because I haven’t seen it. Like, ever.

I follow Columbia news, as an alum and knowing a current student. She was fine and is apolitical. She had her year ruined not by the encampments, but by counter protestors shutting the college down and creating a storm of distractions.

Proof. Where TAF is the -proof-?

JERUSALEM -- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is examining a plan to seal off humanitarian aid to northern Gaza in an attempt to starve out Hamas militants, a plan that, if implemented, could trap without food or water hundreds of thousands of Palestinians unwilling or unable to leave their homes.

Israel has issued many evacuation orders for the north throughout the yearlong war, the most recent of which was Sunday. The plan proposed to Netanyahu and the Israeli parliament by a group of retired generals would escalate the pressure, giving Palestinians a week to leave the northern third of the Gaza Strip, including Gaza City, before declaring it a closed military zone.

Those who remain would be considered combatants — meaning military regulations would allow troops to kill them — and denied food, water, medicine and fuel, according to a copy of the plan given to The Associated Press by its chief architect, who says the plan is the only way to break Hamas in the north and pressure it to release the remaining hostages.

First draft of the final solution. Biden is all in on this!

you do not believe anti-semitism exists, to you it is "true information" so you cannot see it.

After seeing the horrifying footage of Israel burning Palestinians alive in refugee areas, all I can say is that no Zionist had better ever ask me again for sympathy for any type of hardship someone supposedly is suffering in Israel. Zionists are savages and no better than Nazis, and if the college kids want to remind them of that every day more power to them.

Theyre spiralling because Hezbollah killed or injured lots of IDF yesterday supposedly but Israel is hiding the death solider death tolls from Lebanon for political reasons.

It’s like 2006 all over again. Lebanon was not easy for Israel then so I can only imagine Hezbollah now is far far worse as they have grown and are battle tested from Syria.

The IDF 100% can’t win in Lebanon unless they get major U.S. ground troop help

Not sure why Israel would choose the worst moment like this with an absent US Pres and in between administrations to open another front with Lebanon.

I don’t think they have enough IDF to handle Gaza and Lebanon together let alone the West Bank

While I agree with the PP that in conflict not one is ever 100% right and nobody is 100% wrong, it's so clear to me that the human aspect of this conflict is being brushed off by many who support Israel as collateral damage/terrorists' fault for hiding among civilians/secondary blasts due to munitions/etc etc). This human and personal cost is real and it does not increase the love for Israel, in fact, the opposite.

I really do not see how this wraps up well for anyone.

I don’t know where that guy is wrong with his sentiment. I bet many moderate Israelis became right wing after 10/7. It’s natural the 55 year old moderate in Lebanon who formerly disliked Hezbollah now supports them against Israel after the building explosions.

The unfortunate thing about violence and war is it radicalize those in the middle who normally would denounce right wing groups.

It’s why Republicans and right wingers are dangerous in most societies because war is their political asset. It worked for Bush and it is working for Hamas and for Hezbollah and Netanyahu. Win win for them but not for the people
