That's what the experience of rich and famous Hollywood women suggests. Please name one who ended up with an absolute gem of a husband. I can only think of Barbra Streisand and Goldie Hawn for women in their 70s. Younger than that, I'm coming up with nothing. |
It's crazy but maybe it was effective? |
| She married an addict. |
Not a big star but Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinz Jr. I guess, Kelly Ripa too. I’m not sure how because I cannot stand her. |
Good job coming up with two! Seriously. |
| Well hopefully her daughters will go to college and make something of themselves. Being a nepo model is lazy. |
They're set for life, can do whatever they like. |
| So many here who see “going to college” (or having babies) as some sort of measure against other females. |
DP. There are a lot more. I can think of ten more at the top of my head starting with Tom Hanks:Rita Wilson and Courtney Vance/Angela Bassett. |
I would add Sandra Bullock… I think Brian was truly a special guy and they would’ve been together a long time. It’s really tragic he died so young of a terminal illness. I get the PP’s point, it’s hard for successful women for sure. It’s been hard for Nicole too, but I truly think she settled. I think the OOT displays of affection were to compensate for that. |
| It’s much harder to name 20+ year couples where each of them is fully active and successful in their own right in a demanding public-facing career under constant camera/pap glare. |
David and Victoria Beckham. |
| Keith looks like he might have a small d*ck. Just getting that vibe. |
I honestly don’t know them well enough, I see them in the tabloids and a documentary but are they each active and successful in their public-facing careers? Not in the same way an actor and musician would be at least. |
Yes they are, or were. He has plenty of time on his hands these days. However, she had to overlook a sh*t ton of cheating over the years. I couldn't have done it. The good looking successful wealthy men at that level cheat. All of them. The only variable is whether the wife chooses to stay or not. |
