It is very disappointing that major media is not reporting these stories. Not surprising, but disappointing.

MSNBC just reported on it.

Yeah, that's preaching to the choir. You need the Wall Street Journal reporting on it.

So many of those stories are just the way miscarriages go and not the fault of anyone

This is ABSOLUTELY the fault of lawmakers playing doctor. These women should have been given proper medical care, not told to wait until they were about to die. F you and your “not anyone’s fault.” Underestimate women’s anger at your peril.

McEntee is an idiot, there have been tons of these stories running in major media since SB8 in Texas before Dobbs was overturned. This thread is full of them. Also McEntee is a lowlife gambling addict who was fired by John Kelly because he couldn’t get a security clearance so he has no business being anywhere near a nominee for President.

Driving 12 hours to receive proper treatment for an ectopic isn't normal. The standard of care for an ectopic is IMMEDIATE treatment to prevent tubal rupture and internal hemorrhage.
My ectopic was caught early enough to be treated with methotrexate (one of those "abortion drugs" the pro-birth side wants banned...except it is also used for a multitude of other, non-obstetric purposes), and I was able to avoid surgery and compromising my future fertility.

If miscarriages don’t “go” the right way the proper medical treatment is abortion, which almost half of the women in America are not getting in this f***ed up environment.

This thread is full of little one off news stories that never made it into the zeitgeist in any meaningful way because the media needs abortion to not be a story.

Carmen Broeder is the woman who made a video replying to that knuckle dragging Republican McEnte and she’s ended up with a-fib due to her criminally mismanaged, 19 day long miscarriage. So for the rest of her life she carries a higher risk of heart attack for want of a simple procedure.

But the media isn’t going to report on this in any real way. Now Joe Biden was old, did you know that? We had years of increasing coverage about that but women dying for need of an abortion? Nothing to see here, folks.

I think one of Donald’s longest lasting sins is that he emboldened stupid people to feel like their opinion was worth something.

But will the algorithms show the replies to the snowed people who need to see them, is the real question.

He is so screwed on this issue. All he can do is infuriate the pro-choice voters, infuriate the anti-abortion voters, or infuriate everyone with stupid lies like this answer.

Imagine how he’s doing with the families of women who died because of his forced birther politics.

The only abortions illegalized by Dobbs were certain pre-viability abortions in conservative states. The odds that there are a sufficient number of bleed outs that ten thousand occurred among the population of women familiar with this relatively obscure commentator is zero. Thats not a political statement on my part; it's just a matter of whats even remotely plausible or not.
