https://public.totalglobalsports.com/public/event/3851/college-list I'll do your work for you. - There 383 coaches listed as attending. |
then your reading comprehension of their chart is suspect. it is clear that the current 2024/25 GA playoffs had 159 D1 college programs attended. did you go and count them from GA's website? their chart says ECNL has 237 D1 college programs currently attending the ECNL playoffs. did you go and count them from ECNL's website? no one is taking about the total number of college coaches or programs in their post. their post is clearly referencing "D1" college programs guiding the reader as to what showcase the D1 college programs are attending. pretty simple to understand |

I'll do your work again. - There are 301 colleges attending |
Good for both and for the players getting seen. Can't unfortunately say the same for other leagues. |
So put another way, cherry picked data. Which is exactly why people know your X guy is BS. |
If you like cherry picked data how about this one? More girls ECNL players stop playing in their first year of college than any other league. |
reading comprehension again is not your strongpoint. there are 159 D1 college programs listed. no one said TOTAL AMOUNT OF COACHES attending. be smarter |
the point of the chart is to highlight where the "D1" college programs are going. there is NO cherry picking. simply, go to the website, use the dropdown and then count the number of D1. most players want to play D1, thus the point of the chart. at this point you are either a troll or...well never mind |
My daughter is on a 2009 showcase GA team and we had close to 50 schools at our second game and many more than the 5-8 that you described at every game. |
Looking at 08’ ECNL girls champions league playoff scores…
6-2 4-0 5-2 5-2 14-0 6-1 5-0 7-4 5-0 5-0 5-0 7-2 Clearly not everyone is “elite” |
Aren't these the top 48 teams in each age group? |
It's too bad we have to tear each other down. Not necessary really. |
So you do like cherry picked data. Like.... More girls ECNL players quit playing soccer in their first year of playing Collegiatly than any other league. Its obvious that either you don't understand that X friend is posting purposefully misleading info. Or you understand but dont care + choose to ignore. |
If my kid was a forward and I wanted to highlight them to college coaches GA would be the place to be. |
More people in China die every year than any other country. More people in NYC die every year than any other U.S. city. This is a meaningless statistic. The only thing it proves is that more players in college come from ECNL. On the other hand some people might view D1 programs as meaningful different from D2 and JC. |
