Political Discussion
The game was ended after the third quarter. Unfortunately, Ms. Bosworth and her teammates are learning a hard lesson that violent oppression has consequences, and sometimes innocents are caught up in the crosshairs. I mean, that's what we're told the loved ones of the tens of thousands of innocent Palestinians being blown to smithereens in Gaza should do, right? Just accept it and stop complaining ... That said, it's looking like fabrications may have been published by Ms. Bosworth. If so, I have a hell of a bigger problem with THAT than I do anyone saying Free Palestine in any context. And why shouldn't I? If you're against freedom for the Palestinian people, you are an enemy of peace and human rights. I don't support liars and I definitely don't support enemies of peace and human rights, whether it's Israel or Hamas or Robin Bosworth herself. If it turns out she's telling the truth, serious consequences have already been doled out. But if it turns out she fabricated or embellished what occurred, she should be suspended from her school for the same period of time that the opposing team's player was suspended. Wanna bet how little consequence she will face if found to have lied? |
“Free Palestine” isn’t racist, though. |
If it turns out that she is telling the truth, you will twist it to say that she deserved it. We see you. |
So you are justifying bullying Jewish girls for what you perceive are Israel’s actions. And this is not anti semitism? You raging anti semite. |
DP what are the three Palestinian students who were gunned down? You cheered tha. There has been no condemnation by any of the pro Israel fanatics like yourself. |

Masked gunmen invade a village, shoot 3 people dead, and injure 10 others.
If the gunmen were Palestinians, they would be called terrorists. These settlers are murderers and Israel should be held responsible for this state sponsored terrorism. https://www.washingtonpost.com/investigations/2024/01/09/israel-settler-violence-qusra-west-bank/ |
You are 100% wrong. Here's just a sampling of the Jewish community's response to that shooting: https://jewishpublicaffairs.org/news/jcpa-statement-on-shooting-of-three-palestinian-students-in-burlington-vt/ https://www.wamc.org/news/2023-12-02/vermont-rabbi-discusses-concerns-following-shooting-of-palestinian-students https://www.timesofisrael.com/liveblog_entry/jewish-groups-joins-calls-for-hate-crime-probe-into-vermont-shooting-of-palestinians/ American Jewish institutions consistently and loudly speak out against Islamophobic hate crimes. |
No, if she’s telling the truth and opposing players called her or her teammates f’ing Jews, I’ll unequivocally condemn those actions. So no, you actually see nothing, you deranged, paranoid weirdo. |
Free Palestine and criticisms of Israel’s actions that are more than deserving of criticism (i.e., the entire body of their actions toward the indigenous people of the Middle East over the past 75 years) will NEVER amount to anti-semitism, no matter how hard you try to keep yourself in the limelight as the professional victim class. I’ll criticize Israel and Hamas all I want, and you can pound sand. |
You don’t get credit for that, by virtue of merely being Jewish, too. There is clearly a fault line in the American Jewish community - it is a division of good (Jews who have compassion for others, and who will defend victims and speak out against atrocities in the world, including the malignant actions of the State of Israel, when it’s called for) and bad (Zionists who are just garden variety racists with political motivations), unfortunately. But it’s plain to see, especially here. The bad, or evil, is plain as day to see. |

Buuuuut basketball players were “roughed up”! The latest in a long string of Benghazis for the professional victim class, all of which make this little assassination of a non-combatant civilian much ado about nothing. |

Asked by NBC News if the IDF had evidence to support its allegation that an individual in the vehicle was a terrorist, IDF spokesperson Daniel Hagari said the incident was “unfortunate” and an investigation was still ongoing. “Every journalist that dies it’s unfortunate," he said. “We understand they were putting a drone, using a drone. And using a drone in a war zone, it’s a problem. It looks like the terrorists,” Hagari said, adding that Hamas uses drones to collect intel on Israeli forces. “So we will investigate this incident and we will provide the data,” Hagari said. Al Jazeera managing editor Mohamed Moawad told NBC News that Thuraya was a freelance drone operator for the network. He said the duo were in the car on their way home from filming the aftermath of an airstrike when their vehicle was targeted by Israeli forces, adding that they were not flying a drone while driving back to Rafah. In a statement, Al Jazeera condemned the attack, calling Hamza and Thuraya’s deaths an “assassination” and urging legal action to be taken to restrain the Israeli military. The network added that the Israeli military has “systemically targeted” Dahdouh and his family. https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/wael-dahdouh-palestinian-journalist-son-killed-israeli-strike-gaza-rcna132791 |
The atrocities we visit upon you tomorrow will make you forget today’s … should be the motto of the IDF. |
