Ukrainian victory over Russia is inevitable

He's South African, easily influenced but thinks he's the smartest in the room, a control freak and doesn't understand geopolitics. In other words, he's a mark that got played. Our private sector is both a strength and a weakness.

Luckily this episode has led to other companies, using intelsat's network, stepping up. This is why redundancy is important.

Easily influenced, by the stupidest kinds of people.

Unfortunately, the Pentagon hasn't seen fit to turn over A-10's and Vulcan cannons yet? A-10's would provide the close-in ground support needed to deal with defensive lines. Vulcan cannons are useful against UAVs and bunkers. Their range is also better against bunkers and ground targets.

I'd find it difficult to believe that Russian infantry wouldn't freak out once they see what a gatling gun does to a fixed defensive position, or what an A-10 would do to a bunker.

If anyone says an A-10 is obsolete technology, they're lying or ignorant. It has the best survival rate of any aircraft in US history.

"The A-10 force, flying more than 8,000 combat sorties, suffered only five A-10s destroyed (a loss rate of . 062 percent). Twenty of these aircraft returned with significant battle damage, and forty-five others returned with light damage that was repaired between sorties."

Crazed link lady, they are slow, have no spare parts lying around, and they’re difficult to repair by untrained individuals.

Ohh. Touched a nerve there?

You're either talking from your lower mouth or a lying Russian throwing shade.

Slow means, unlike the Russian frogfoot counterpart, it can hit ground targets.

The "light damage was repaired between sorties" means they're easily repaired by swapping out sections. That also means that, unlike the F-16's, they're easier to train on by mechanics and far more forgiving due to their rugged components. They're also designed to land on roads in a pinch. Remember these were designed specifically to fight the former Soviet Union.

So you'd agree that A-10's and Vulcan cannons should be a part of future arms packages that should help take down Russian troops quickly.

Good to know.

Is anyone supposed to know these areas?

Like the horses. No idea if this is Russians shooting at Ukrainians or Ukrainians shooting at Russians. Or angry Russians arguing and shooting each other.

I think that the media is being hoodwinked by the Russians. Every time I see all these pics of burned out vehicles or whatever, I’m skeptical that these are “Ukrainian” — how do we
know they aren’t bombed out Russian tanks and such? Don’t tell me people can tell the difference when they are basically just a hole in the ground.

Russians are trying to demoralize the West because they are getting desperate. Soon I expect the second line (out of 3) will be broken and then it will be hugely important to have the full backing of all Freedom loving people behind the counteroffensive. Now is the time to take Crimea BEFORE the autumn rains start!

Biden should rally the country and all of NATO behind Ukraine for this effort!!

It's Russians working for the machine, versus Russians oppressed by the machine.

It's an enduring legacy of brutal Russian colonialism....

Speaking of which...

Lol did he feel this way when Turkey occupied their native Crimea? Crimean Tatars are basically Turks. Why wasn’t it Ukraine colonizing them? It’s not like they were governing themselves.

Should I be surprised that Russians from Moscow don't know shit about Evenki people?

It's fine - let it take the Muscovites by surprise that all of the people Russia conquered and subjugated still harbor deep resentment toward Russia, to the point where they'd sooner take up arms against Russia than some random country like Ukraine that they don't even care about. 😆

Since real American's won't know what the troll is saying, let me narrate Moscow's storyline for you.

Moscow's position is that Crimea is "predominantly Russian." Here's the backstory:

"In 1783, the peninsula was annexed by the Russian Empire"
"Most Crimean Tatars (about 300 000 people) left their homeland and settled within the borders of the Ottoman Empire. The Russian government introduced benefits for immigrants from the north, trying to colonize and ‘Russify’ the peninsula. Yet, in 1897, Crimean Tatars still constituted the majority of the local population (36%), with Russians being the second largest nation (33%)."
"In 1944, massive deportation was conducted by the USSR after the People’s Commissariat for Internal Affairs had accused Crimean Tatars of treason, collaboration, and defection."
"from 600 000 to 1.5 million Russians moved to Crimea as of 2021, while 30 000 Crimean Tatars were forced to leave the peninsula"
"Absent Russian citizenship, one cannot get a job, use medical services, open a bank account, buy a credit card, sell a house, or get a license plate."
"if they do not receive a foreign residence permit, they may be regarded as displaced persons and thus deported."
https://icds.ee/en/crimean-tatars-in-the-vortex-of-war-a-decisive-moment-for-the-nation/

"the Soviet Union adopted a policy of “Russification” for the peninsula. Crimea was “Russified”: Any study of the Tatar’s native language was banned, ancient Tatar names were erased, Tatar books were burned, and their mosques were destroyed."

"The Atesh guerrilla group is active behind Russian lines"
“Atesh is very deep underground,”
“There was not a single arrest among Atesh members, but they are working inside Crimea territory blowing up targets.”

Things like this concern me:

https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/ukraines-zelenskiy-says-russian-missiles-hit-poland-significant-escalation-2022-11-15/

Note blaming with no evidence. Missiles have tail numbers so there should be evidence. That Zelensky doesn’t reference that, tells me that he’s probably lying.
