Post here if you have received a DCPS offer from the waitlist

Anyone? I am hoping to get into Seaton OOB PK3-- what are my chances?

I'm hoping for some movement too! Next week should give a little something. Patience, grasshopper

If Ludlow-Taylor went to the 40s last year, Seaton (and Van Ness, etc) will certainly get through their lists.

I haven't seen movement yet, so we may need to wait till next week for the first round of backfills from wait lists.

I think they're not supposed to extend offers from the waitlist til after May 1. Myschooldc says they will send an email, change the status on your results to "offer extended" and call.

IT doesn't happen that fast. They need to go through all the paperwork of who has accepted. Takes a while.

They do that when you initially enroll. There's nothing to go trough at this point.

Unless a bunch of people did it at the last minute - like yesterday. After they go through the paperwork they need to log into the database and confirm who has enrolled. Shouldn't take a long time but not shocked some schools may need another day or two to catch up.

We are a Seaton family - just wishing you luck and hope you join us for next year!

PP 12:21. What grade was it at Ludlow Taylor that went to the 40's?

Once you receive an offer, how long do you typically have to accept? The MSDC website says this varies by school- does anyone know if it is typically days, weeks or a month?

I understand that it is typically not longer than a week.

If you hear before say July you might have a week. After that it is more typically a day or two, but it definitely varies by school.

Is it sad that I thought to myself, well it's Monday (nevermind that it is 7:30 am), let's see if waitlists have moved! I need to work on my patience.
