I agree with this tweet. I saw the cards on Instagram and thought it was so weird. Of course I expected them to post something about celebrating mothers since it’s Mother’s Day here but was surprised to see the three cards to Granny Diana. It felt like a very strategic post to go along with Kate’s visit to Clapham Commons. They need to stop. However, on the other hand, if they keep doing this kind of stuff people will no longer be talking about how Charles is racist. So I guess maybe a seeming sibling rivalry and odd PR stunts, that are clearly stunts, is better than the headlines being about racism in the RBF.

Why does Diana practically get to be Harry’s brand but anything William does in regards to her is PR? They posted about her last year for Mother’s Day as well. In 2017 William did a documentary where he talked about keeping “Granny Diana’s” memory alive for his children. Why does Harry get to constantly bring her up and make being his “mothers son” a huge part of foundation but William’s not allowed to speak about her at all?

This, this, this!!!

NP - I have no issues with William speaking up on her. Diana was his mother too. But there is no need to thrust minor children, particularly ones who never met her and are too young to fully understand the implications of her death, into this and in such a public way. This is gross, just like forcing Diana’s minor sons to walk behind her coffin was gross. And if Harry did this to his kids, it would be gross too.

+1

Usually they’re all about privacy when it comes to the kids. They’ll share the occasional bday or holiday card pic but that’s it. I think that’s smart. It’s good to have firm boundaries.

I didn’t like them sharing these cards, feels like an invasion of the kids’ privacy. Normally they’re so good about this which is why it makes me cynical and think it has to be related to trying to get sympathy after the big interview.

This isn't the first year they've shared these cards. It's just the first year some have noticed.

They used to be above such things. It’s disappointing to see them stooping to the level of cheesy Hollywood celebs calling the paparazzi on themselves.

The fact that KP confirmed the visit and where she got the flowers means they wanted us to know.

What happened to their dignified silence?!

The same that happened to the Sussexes?

Pippa Middleton just had a baby and looks fantastic:

She looks like a cross between Jennifer Garner and Meghan Markle.

I have to wonder if Kensington Palace is going to put out a statement about this? It’s not looking good.

? Half her body is behind the stroller and her face continues to look like a man.

Well she's dead so she doesn't get a say. They call the Queen "granny" so....

The Queen's their great grandmother and quite a different persona but as you say, Diana's dead so...

"Geriatric"? Diana would have been turning 60 this year.. not exactly young.

How come these two have not been cancelled for this disgusting stunt?

Harry’s still swanning around after his Nazi costume and using a racist slur against a Pakistani colleague, isn’t he?

This was years ago and you could probably find the same images with the Queen and Prince Charles doing the same. My understanding is that it is a traditional greeting for that country when they visit.

The negative posters would rather have had the BRF insult them to appear woke.

In 2012? Are you from the Solomon Islands because it is part of their culture to welcome dignitaries this way.

By "implications of her death," you mean the minor children shouldn't know that their grandmother was wandering around Europe with a coke addict rather than taking care of their father and uncle?

Any good foreign ops will tell you you turn down racist stereotypes that don’t benefit the people or the public. Prince Charles turned it down and did not do the chairs.
