Unfortunately one of the first stories of meghan In London with Harry was on Lainey’s gossip site about how Kate did not offer meghan a ride to go shopping when they were at KP. Lainey is on a gossip show with Ben Mulroney, meghans best friends husband. |

Maybe she was disgusted by their behavior? Harry seemed like a different person with Meghan and not in a good way. But, that's her husband's problem. She doesn't need to butt in. There was obviously trouble brewing there and why people insist Meghan played no part in it is baffling. She's on the sidelines for a reason. |

This. All the MM fans seem to conveniently forget that MM came out of the gate planting her own tabloid pieces. The story about Doria being invited to Sandringham before they were married? The story about MM being asked to be Louis' godmother before they were married? These were all clearly planted by MM. If you found out that your future SIL was attempting to manipulate the media and planting false stories before she was even an official member of the family would you be welcoming her with open arms immediately? Any rational person would keep her at arms' length until she proved herself trustworthy. Not sure why MM fans want to insist otherwise. MM did this to herself. |

It is a British thing to avoid strangers. You really have to know them for about 6 months at least before they will even consider including you For Kate, this is just an acquaintance by marriage. And that is all that it is. Kate grew up in the right boarding schools and was trained for her role for a decade. British society is very difficult to break into, especially the high class. You can see this by looking at Harry's wedding video. The brf was utterly bored with the part of the "American" ceremony. Mostly only things that are English/British are liked, valued. No internet in anything else |

| Why is it so hard for some people to believe Meghan might be the source of her issues? Meghan doesn't get along with her dad, siblings, in-laws, has an ex-husband, a friend who doesn't have nice things to say (what was her name, Naniki?), lots of bad press with people saying unflattering things. There's a pattern here. The most likely problem is Meghan herself. |

You really think there's something wrong with Meghan because she doesn't have a relationship with her father, siblings and XDH? If she had posted about them in the Relationship forum, I have no doubt most all (there's always a 'but they're family!' idiot) would agree they're toxic and she should cut them off. By all accounts, she has an excellent relationship with her mother. As far as 'friends' saying negative things, when you're in the public eye, lots of people come out of the wood work to hate. I agree with the PP that Prince Harry is responsible for managing his family, not Meghan. |

Criticism towards her can be legit AND racially motivated. And frankly the continued insistence that no criticism of her could possibly be racist...is itself racist. You don’t know all the people with nasty things to say about her or why they are choosing to do so. I’m also not sure that there has ever been a person of any meaningful African heritage who has successfully arrived in British high society. I read some article about the first black marchioness and even she, a billionaire heiress who is half British and went to all the “right” schools was treated differently because of her race. |

I mean most of those people, save the ex husband, are all terrible. Her siblings are (1) a woman who is sixteen years older than her and is estranged from her own mother and daughter (who she also physically abused). (2) her brother who also has a DV charge. Her father who is a hot mess and frankly whose behavior is incomprehensible to anyone who is a parent. And that Naniki girl sounded kind of weird and jealous. Her criticism is that Meg didn’t tell her why she wanted to get divorced and subsequently iced her out for meeting up with her ex husband. Meanwhile, she was megan’s Friend from high school and did not have any relationship or friendship with her ex outside of Meghan. Just a really weird and shady thing to do. I would however love to hear what her ex husband had to say! |
