Maybe that’s your own portfolio choices. The data speaks for itself. |
One new poll? For an election in over 16 months… I hope nobody takes this tidbit too seriously. |
People have been discussing Trump’s approval all over this thread. Yes that involves poll data. |
You’d think that standing for freedom and America and decency would be enough. We stand against maga fascism and racism and domestic terrorism.
Is that enough? |
No one buys the party of antifa is against domestic terrorism. |
Based on Dems reaction to the SCOTUS decision in Montgomery County, MD I'd say they are still standing for issues that will make them lose again. |
Because we have eyes. |
Well, people need to account for the roughly 15 percent decline in the value of the US dollar this year when looking at their portfolio. But agree that the market overall is pretty resilient. I think that's largely due to the TACO trade settling in as the norm. Trump's words have no meaning anymore. The more ridiculous Trump is, the more bullish the market. |
Possibly eyes. Certainly no brain. |
Alas... no. At this moment in time, Republicans are doing pretty well. Markets are up. Economy is ok. Illegal migrant crossing have dropped by more than 95 percent. Europe is finally increasing their defense spending. The Iran strikes were fairly useful and demonstrated what the US can do. China is pretty quiet. DEI is dead. The courts are generally ruling in favor of Republicans. I mean, all things considered, things are going pretty well for Republicans. And in the meantime, Democrats are completely lost. Schumer and Jeffries are inadequate leaders. Progressives continue to gift Republicans with various issues - from unpopular trans legislation to putting up privileged far left candidates like Mamdani in NYC that don't really resonate with working class Americans - perpetuating all the stereotypes of Democrats being the party of out of touch wealthy Manhattanites. Trump's unpopularity will continue to decline, but he's not on the ballot anymore. And Democrats have offered nothing to step into the vacuum. The incompetence of the Democratic Party is breathtaking. Republicans are much better prepared for the post-Trump era. |
Are they though? |
This reads like a lot of excuses to backtrack on the silly claims that 1) the administration is “an utter disaster” and 2) I only think otherwise because “Trump told me so.” At least now you can admit the economy is doing well in his presidency so that’s progress. |
+1 and well said. People on this thread can deny reality, but it still exists. Voters will look at the next 13 months and judge. Democrats better do something. |
