Why do you dislike law enforcement?

Now THIS is a stupid post. You think the posters on this thread are criminals?

Civil infractions more than criminal.

That said, I know two people, personally, who are the kinds of officers we all wish for and I refuse to believe they are the exception. I have friends who refuse to believe there could ever be a good cop of any kind anywhere.

I know many officers as well. (I interact with them as part of my job.) They are kind, respectful people who perform honorably and admirably at work. I also am aware they aren’t the exception.

I have a friend who really hates cops. She doesn’t know any, nor has she had any negative experiences with them. I think she’s simply under the impression that hating cops is the right thing to do.

I’m wondering if people’s reasoning is similar or if there are several distinct opinions. I’ve seen several “defund” posts and even one calling for the death penalty for ICE agents. Maybe it’s only one or two posters. I’ll be interested to see your replies.

Abolish ICE.

#BlackLivesMatter

Law abiding Black people that live in high crime areas in Democrat run cities welcome a larger law enforcement presence.

Sure.

Whitey was behind that.

Propaganda dot org!

Here's something more interesting. This sort of incident, and MUCH WORSE happens several times a day across the country. Imagine how bad it was before bodycams!? Though even today many just turn off their body cam or the department conveniently has corrupted files and loses the video evidence of the crimes police commit everyday.

This is 1,000,000x more likely.

Because they lie and threaten to entrap the public.

Because they wield the power of the state and can literally lock human souls in cages, they should be required to be honest.

The public does a perfectly good job of entrapping themselves. YouTube University law degrees are terrible.

I’m in law enforcement and black. So yes, there are a lot of problems

The number of people that disregard their right to remain silent then talk themselves into handcuffs is shocking. There is a reason they Mirandize you. Just keep quiet and comply.

I only dislike them when I'm getting cited for something I've done. I've never dealt with LE where I wasn't guilty, but I still don't like it, or the officer at the time.

Sometimes wealthy white business owners end up in a lot of trouble. This woman is obviously a dangerous person. I’m sure when she recounted the sequence of events that took place here that she told her friends the police were wrong, they trampled on her rights and she did nothing wrong.
