Why do you dislike law enforcement?

Maybe it’s only one or two posters. I’ll be interested to see your replies.

Abolish ICE.

Law abiding Black people that live in high crime areas in Democrat run cities welcome a larger law enforcement presence.

Sure.

Whitey was behind that.

This morning I saw that 134 law enforcement officers have been shot so far in 2025. The news was running a story about Ohio police officers that were shot the other day by a 21-year-old during a traffic stop. Maybe that criminal will be the new Luigi.

Black people don’t like or trust White people. Painting the street doesn’t matter.

Police have treated me poorly during my interactions with them. One sexually assaulted my friend (grabbed her boobs) during a traffic stop and said "what are you going to do about it" to the guys in the car who saw it. It was years before body cameras and cell phones. When you call 911 for them, they don't show up for hours and then don't investigate.

That is why I dislike them.

I'd like to take mental health calls and domestic dispute calls and public naissance calls off their plate. Fund other better trained entities to do this work. I'd like them not have discretion to pull people over for minor traffic offences - just call the broken taillight in and get a letter sent out, use cameras to send change lane warnings and then tickets ect. They should only pull people over for warrants and stolen cars and for suspected drunk driving or clear danger to others.

This would certainly help public perception of them a lot.

Also stopping the "no knock" nonsense which is beyond asinine, and getting rid of thought-crime-esque "red flag" laws.

This would be great until the better trained entities get stabbed, shot or bludgeoned.

If people don’t want to be pulled over they can make sure their taillights aren’t broken and they change lanes properly.

Anonymous wrote:I love the police officers that moonlight as traffic controllers at my kid's youth orchestra rehearsal every week. They're friendly and make us feel safe.

Sadly, as a foreigner on a visa, I've had to deal with abusive border control officers at certain border checkpoints coming into the US. I've witnessed them make unfounded accusations that are later reversed by their supervisors, and I've witnessed them screaming in people's faces, while they're holding young children and babies.

So you need to understand that certain psychological profiles which thrive on domination and bullying tend to flock to these professions. It's not just the decent, upright men and women who desire to serve their communities, saves people's lives, and catch "bad guys". In some of these people's minds, "bad guys" can mean whoever doesn't look like them. And in certain cases, they don't care who they bully, they get a thrill out of it, and are unleashed on whoever their superiors decide can be mistreated. Sadly, in these benighted times, there are a lot of people that suddenly seem to be OK to treat in an inhumane manner.

start thinking about abandoning that visa and heading home to your own culture, you will be much happier.

Since Covid the way people drive has become a major safety issue. Speeding is out of control and red lights are essentially suggestions to stop. I’m all for police enforcing traffic laws.

I don't hate law enforcement officers. I hate BAD law enforcement officers. That said, I know two people, personally, who are the kinds of officers we all wish for and I refuse to believe they are the exception. I have friends who refuse to believe there could ever be a good cop of any kind anywhere.
