The FBI has *ARRESTED* a sitting judge in Milwaukee, over allegations it obstructed immigration enforcement.

I have watched RFK grill some of these awful judges like Mary Anne Franks. These type of judges do not have the wisdom or character to bear the title of honorable.

RFK died in 1968. Keep up.

I thought she had a good argument about the type of warrant ICE presented. She told them to get a criminal warrant. It’s a shame she destroyed her life for a domestic assault suspect. I don’t have her courage.

Not a lawyer, but others say the warrant was valid. Sneaking an alleged perpetrator out of a courtroom--one that had some pretty valid evidence against him--is not my idea of "courage."
I think her hatred of all things Trump outweighed any intelligence she may have once had.

Civil warrants don’t allow a physical arrest. That’s her argument. If the evidence was there they should have had a criminal warrant.

This is completely incorrect. The actual answer was posted several pages ago.

She's claiming "judicial immunity."

Not sure that applies with obstruction of justice.

Yes, we know. You have situational ethics. Very convenient ones.

Was the federal grand jury full of Trump administration plants? The judge was indicted by a jury of her peers. People here tried to explain the seriousness of what she did. She’s in real trouble.

Don’t forget the adage that a grand jury will indict a ham sandwich. I’ve testified before them many times and they are always the old church going retiree types that in no way represent the typical person in the particular jurisdiction. Those juries are full of pro prosecution plants. Usually the trial jury is more representative as the defense has a say in choosing them.

Type of warrant. WTF is this? "Catch me if you can"? Was she a judge in criminal matters or a baseball umpire?

This was a nuisance arrest, nothing more. So she let the guy go out a back door and he was quickly apprehended. No harm, no foul, no crime.

Only because there was one agent that she didn't know about who was still watching.

Or immune from ANY law, for that matter, by virtue of being a judge?

Could a judge be arrested for DUI? Or assault? Or tax evasion?

If yes, then aren’t those also authoritarianism, too?

Democrats are getting too far out over their skis here on this stuff.

Ok, so you are not getting it. She was arrested for adjudicating a case. Not hiding someone in her basement.
. She was arrested for helping an illegal alien avoid ICE. She will likely be censured by her supreme Court

I don't think she even adjudicated the case. Didn't she sneak him out first? Not very professional for a judge.
