The United States is the most racist country on the planet.

No, actually India is very racist. Caste system and all that.

Absolutely. What culture has a class called the Untouchables?

For those of you saying there's no news coverage... are you living under rocks? This story is national news and being reported on by all major networks.

Even before NBC News picked it up, my best friend's local news in Grand Rapids, MI reported on it. She used to live in Loudoun and hearing that during the broadcast made her do a doubletake.

It’s even a bigger story in DR. A lot of coverage. Again you never see missing people in resorts over there. Just hope the family gets some closure. For me there’s just two options. She drowned or the american tourist killed her.

Impossible.

The American media is racist and sexist and hates all minorities / women. We have been trying to warn you for years.

Did you even read the story? They’re still waiting on toxicology reports. They said they were signs that they could have overdosed. They took the alcohol and some gummies

It was the main story on CNN in my office's cafeteria at lunch time. They already have field reporters reporting live from the DR.

Obviously, no one in the world is going to care about her disappearance, nor will anybody cover the story in the media.

Unfortunately, this is true.
Blonde, blue-eyed get the most media attention.
And are also the salient features of girls and women who are kidnapped.

Why are you guys doubling down on this life? It’s all over the news.

The reason the mainstream media flat out refuses to provide any coverage at all of Sudiksha’s disappearance is because she is a brown-skin female.

I just did a Google search and just put in the words “Dominican Republic” and every single major news station popped up with a report on this sad story.

I think those saying it hasn't been in the news have limited awareness of how to access news with cell phones, computers, tv, etc. Maybe they pnly look at Tik Tok?

NPR assures me daily we are the most racist culture on the planet bar none.

Surely - like me - NPR is your only news source, Amirite?

DP. Sounds like in that country and all around the world. Skin pigment too even if in higher what you called - castes, or groups. Then you have Causasians trying to get a tan in the great US of A sun.

If you have time, read Caste by I Wilkerson. The "untouchables" are compared to African Americans in US. She gives an example in book.
