Trump today and MAGA still claiming Harris never worked at McDonald’s

First they tell her to phone in a video to the charity event using an SNL skit that was embarrassing when it first ran 30 years ago. Now you have the October surprise with a side of fries.

This is the danger of shoving an unproven candidate forward at the last minute. Ideally you want someone that's gone through the wringer a time or two before you run them for President.

I'm not worried about her credentials, though. As I stated, I'm worried about why her team keeps letting her get outplayed.

Memes matter. There were some great photos and great, positive memes that came out of this. She should've done this.

It’s not the team, it’s the candidate.

And the first time you told a soul was 5 years ago?

+1.

This is a stupid argument, but let's face it: Kamala's story about working at McDonald's simply does not stand up.

I had my first real job when I was 16, in 1985. If I had to prove now that I worked for 1.5 years at that little department store in North Carolina, I could do it.

Then the last 40 years must have been really boring for you. Didn’t you do anything in your late teens or twenties? Most people have more interesting things to remember about being sixteen.

Very odd response, but happy to answer your question. Of course I did many things in my late teens and twenties, and I have many fun and interesting things to remember about being sixteen. I guess I'm totally missing your point. Wasn't your first job memorable? All I said is that I could prove that I worked there for 18 months or so if I had to.

How would you prove it?

Not PP but it would be easy for me to provide the names of people I worked with for my summer college jobs or at the very least friends who were around me at the time who could attest to it. This isn’t that hard.

Your friends attesting to something is "proof". Ehhhh, ok...

Except that in the case of Kamala, we can't even get that. Believe me, if just one person came forward and confirmed that they worked with her at McDs, this whole thing would be put to rest.

Like hell it would, which is why no one is interested.

It’s not a lack of interest, it’s that those people don’t exist.

Snopes tried hard to find someone who could back Kamala up and couldn’t.

Her family members (including her sister) won’t back her up. Yikes.

30 pages in and there is still ZERO evidence that Kamala Harris lied.

Yet it's been PROVEN that Trump lied, because the McDonalds he "worked at" was closed and the "customers" were actors.

Those are the current FACTS.

It's astounding that there are still delusionally dishonest posters here trying to say anything different from that.

If you Trump supporters feel you have to lie constantly like this, 30 pages of lies, in order for your candidate to win, that should be the red flag that there's something deeply wrong with your candidate.

More denial.
Just read the thread. It’s exhausting at this point.

She can remember mcdonald’s coworkers who worked 2-3 jobs to afford to take care of their families?

Again, lack of evidence does not equal evidence. You're just upset that no one wants to play your game.

Either you're fine with politicians lying or you're not. You cannot have it both ways.

If Trump/Vance saying Haitians eats dogs doesn't appall you enough to not vote for them, which brought total chaos to Springfield, why does this much less significant "lie" matter, when it doesn't incite violence and threats to citizens?

The people on this thread that are upset are the ones who can’t admit Harris lied.

So, you're fine with Vance and Trump lying?

I think the point went way over you’re head there lol.

Nice deflection. Just answer the question.

I’ve posted multiple times on this thread that both candidates (and actually all politicians lie). Kamala has lied about her support for bailing out protesters, has lied about Biden’s capabilities while in office, has lied about the trustworthiness of the scientists who worked tirelessly to bring us forth a Covid vaccine as quickly as they did by saying she wouldn’t trust the vaccine, has lied about Trump (project 2025, IVF etc). Those lies are much more important than this (stupid) lie.

Well, if that's the case (that all politicians lie) why does this matter? Why would a lie stop you from voting for a candidate, if all things are equal in that regard? Thus, why are you out to prove this?

SHE DIDN'T LIE

She lied and she apparently cannot get anyone to lie for her either.

No one is able to back up her unverified claim that she worked at McDonalds. It’s the media’s job to verify the unsubstantiated claims of a candidate but despite trying, they can’t here.

Sure, I worked with someone just like that at McDonalds. Still couldn't tell you his name.

I’m responding to people on this thread, as it moves along; I’m not the one who started it. Why are you on the thread?

I don’t buy your silly claim that some lies matter and some don’t. We deserve candidates who simply don’t lie.

Voting is a binary choice among two liars and I have never made the claim that one side is blameless.

I bet if that person was running for president right now, you’d remember.

Look, until you have evidence that she DIDN'T work there - like a W2 from Doofenshmitz Evil Incorporated for the summer of '83 - no one cares except MAGA.

Nope, drawing a complete blank. I could have worked with the Unabomber for all I remember.

Nobody genuinely cares except for MAGA. It's already out of the news cycle. I mean the assassination attempt only lasted for two days in the media cycle after all...
